I recently bought a rear quarter trim for a 105e,when I walked into the guys workshop he had a blue xjc shell up against one wall in the workshop,it had new floor pans and a couple of other panels that had obviously been fitted some time ago from their patina, when I mentioned it his dad piped up that he started it 29 years ago😂.

Nice Omega Seamaster that James has on! The XJC isn't half bad either, gents; excellent to see it running. There's something utterly hilarious about the flatness of that torque curve, being able to pull you out of turns with less downshifting than you'd expect.

That sounds fantastic!! I'm really torn. I was going to put a 76 Pre-HE V12 in my 72 XJ6, but now I'm really leaning towards what you've done. I'd be curious to know how the fuel mileage compares to the V12 as mine will continue to be a daily driver. Great work guys! Really looking forward to seeing - and hearing - more. Please get together with Harry and have a XJC side-by-side comparison. Cheers.

Hi Jeff - we plan to do a comparison video with Harry’s XJC, so you will be able to see them back to back. Regarding fuel economy, this will be somewhere in the 20s (MPG) on a run - the fuel injected V12 is somewhere in the late teens on a run in our experience. Check out Harry’s last video on his XJC when he takes it on a tour.
