Does hay have to breathe in the container? How long will all that hay last you for goat feedings?
Yes the hay has to breathe that's the reason we had to install vents and on nice days we leave the door open.

Drilling that high above your head is ridiculous.
Why do you need to put holes in the container - if the container is air tight so weather wont affect the hay, how would bees, etc get inside? I would think now that there are 4 holes in the walls that the insects, etc would find a home in the units you installed. I am not understanding the ventilation as I thought the dryer the hay, the better. Please explain. Thank you
Hay needs proper ventilation. It gives off chemicals. Chemical reactions and microbial growth in hay occur because of the change in availability of moisture, oxygen, and pressure to create heat. If its too hot and airtight you will have fire. This is how many barn fires occur.

LOL , Cut out the USELESS nonsense, WHY do these folks have to show EVERY step they take like going to the fridge, cooking their BF etc when it's nothing but useless nonsense EXCEPT that they want to add 15 more freaking commercials
I was wondering how your video could possibly be dragged out for 22 min just to show how many bales you got in there. Then I thought, we’ll you might go into the dimensions of the bales, your stacking configuration, the size of gaps, etc etc etc. But nothing about any of those details. We saw 17 minutes of you trying to drill 4 holes, how you make your coffee (SERIOUSLY? 🤷♂️ 🤦♂️), met your cat, dog, and shared a drive to the shop. Really riveting stuff. But you could’ve included a lot more details AND still have been done in under 3 minutes! Mind numbingly boring. If you DO say something of interest, chances are it will be skipped over by those just wanting to get to the relevant info. It was more like a letter home to Mum, who actually wants to see what you do to waste an entire couple of days, that included a bit of work at some stage.
Harsh feedback maybe, but something you should consider for next time. Good luck with the build, or whatever you’re planning on doing with the bales, that putting them in the container is so important. But we don’t know that either 😉
