Rewatching this whole concert, i actually wish now that she’d record her next album while high. She wasn’t drunk here, when she’s drunk she’s slower and less energetic, she was definitely high, but I love it here cuz she was so free vocally and delivered some runs and belts that she hadn’t attempted in years. Maybe she shouldn’t be this high, but just enough to loosen up to record a masterpiece, i know she still has it in her. Her problem now is she tries too hard to be pitch perfect in studio she’s sacrificing her talent for safety, she isn’t letting go anymore and being free in the studio. She’s still got it when her nodules aren’t acting up and when she’s confident.
that's the way she should do her songs.. rearrange them to the best of her current ability instead of trying to sing them like she used to back then. Good luck MC :)
