    Do you loose a few inches on Y axis for spindle or is the laser mounted offset on the gantry?

      The laser is is roughly 5 inches next to the spindle in the X direction. You can change the mounting location from left to right if you want to get the most reach out of your workholding. It's in-line with the spindle in the Y direction.

    Disappointed with the wattage/price ratio. Hopefully something more substantial in the pipeline.

      We picked this wattage because it does well with engraving and cutting thin materials, anything thicker can be cut with the spindle. If you're comparing C02 and diode wattage you can't compare the numbers because they are different types of lasers. A 60-80W C02 can cut about the same as this 15W diode.
      If you want to know some specific material cutting speeds you can always contact our support. They can give you some clearer numbers if you're comparing to other diodes or CO2 lasers.

    Does this mean you have support for ... Cheaper options like my existing spindle mounted laser? As cool as this is, ive been dying to get my existing laser working on my AVID
