Hey Nick great video. However there was one inaccuracy. When you were talking about not being able to fly the newer FrSky radios on D8. I use an X-Lite Pro and fly D8 Whoops exclusively. no, d16 on spi receivers does not work well. D8 is needed on these spi receivers. If you have a newer or updated frsky radio, we will need to buy a multimodule to get d8 mode back.
I don't think I know the "switch", I would think having two working quads would help. If you already have two, a few deep breaths before arming. Maybe spend some time on a computer simulator?
That will stop the more you fly. I think it happens to most. Better to start on a simulator then move to smaller indoor quads and have the stick movements burned into memory so when you go out to fly it's already there without thinking.

@Russell Phelan capacitors on the battery input, different antenna, moved antenna, various camera configs. Theres not much else to do given that the vtx is built into the board.
Betaflight 3.5.7 ? what's that, a year + old? LOL First thing I'd do is flash Emuflight and JESC 48KHZ! That new connector and its extra weight, compared to the PH 2.0, has got to be really small amount, and IMO not an issue. This who0p looks like it'll be a huge seller! B U T... Kinda spendy though, considering it's not really got anything new except for that battery connector and the $15 Ant camera! I see it's available in Crossfire, but with only a 25mw VTX, we know which will give out first, that's for sure! lol IMO, with the Frsky receiver option, it should sell for around $80 - 85. After all, what does it have that the Mobula6 doesn't? Same size motors, but a different KV, a lower retail priced camera $15 vs. $20 for a Runcam Nano3, that new connector, which should cost a difference of pennies! So, why $106 USD? AND, $138...$32 more for the retail $25 Crossfire Nano receiver! Kinda a screwing us all around! Knock $20-25 bucks off all options and get it more in line with what it's worth! 👍 Funny how they are kinda porking us on this new who0p released a couple of days after Newbeedrone FINALLY releases a new who0p where they aren't porking us on their typical super high prices! *I think their new who0p at $79.99 is a MUCH, MUCH BETTER DEAL!* Nice flying like usual and great looking video! 😎🤘
You should know older is better 😁. Emu has a lot going for it and continues to see developments which is great we have seen other alternatives fade away. I suspect the price could be lower, if I recall correctly they had it on presale below $100, we could see a “sale” price at a future time. I would be surprised if the vtx would run 100+mw the last crazybee AIO did.

@@NickBurnsFPV pity nick as I know in your mind you have this idea and would just take off > no pun intended .. wish you luck if you do decide and would be an instant purchases on my behalf as well as thousands of others..
Tearing up the place Nick💥💯😎👌
BTW just ordered the Explorer LR💥👌
It sure is fun 😃🔥
What a little ripper it is....TFS! 😎👍
Sorry,,,,what is TFS? But thank you for the compliment.
Great video!
Can it fly full acro mode out of the box?
Thanks. :)
Thank you. The flight footage in this video is full acro.
Mad jedi skills
I cant add another whoop to the fleet and as I have the UR65 and UK65 which are more than fast enough for my indoor needs.......but it's turned up to 11 so.......
lol. turned up to eleven...such a good movie.
Is there a place to get bf 3.5.7? I don't see it available anymore in the firmware update for the crazy bee f3.
I will get it and post a link in the video description. Good point I should have noted in the review. Thank y ou
@@NickBurnsFPV I like how 3.5 flies so that would be amazing!
@@luckyfpv323 I suspect Happymodel has a hex for this board. I haven't heard back from them yet, but I am sure they will soon/next week.
So you're getting 4 min flights on 250mAh batteries?
yes
The DVR footage looks like it has lines in it. Is it just me?
There is some video noise.
Why the DVR is so good? Looks almost like HD... But maybe I shouldn't watch the video on my smartphone...
I am using Orca FPV One goggles, it has 60fps dvr and rapidfire receiver. Years of flying inside I have found the ideal spot to fly from.
Hey love your videos really big fan
Doesn't look like a bad little whoop surprised you didn't break it LOL
Felt like I should have but it kept coming back for more :)
@@NickBurnsFPV beast mode
Do you like the fov of the ant? I know like me u like that big fov. I have grown to really like the ant. To me the fov is decent.
I wish it was a touch wider but it didn't hold my flying like I want to fly back, so I am good with it.
Can you share the link to the GNB connectors Please
www.aliexpress.com/i/4001188506923.html
So what's the difference between this shipped from China and the one that's cheaper shipped from the USA warehouse? Just the motors or what? Also I don't know how someone can plug in the bt connector backwards? Only if you solder the wires backwards. IDK?
Not sure I understand. At this time I think the US65 Pro is only in the china warehouse. Are you seeing the US65 "non pro" in the US warehouse?
@@NickBurnsFPV yes. I just wonder what makes it pro? Camera? I think the one I've been seeing has an F3 board too. It's $95 from the USA warehouse. I always have trouble with my China orders. I don't want to waste my money on the USA warehouse quad if it's not too good. But don't want to wait 2-3 months coming from China.
@@DougEfresh. That is likely the US65 which is 1s, this is 2s and has the caddx ant camera. This one will weight nearly the same as the 1s but have the flight benefit of 2s.
@@NickBurnsFPV okay cool. Thanks a million for the info, you rock Nick.
Is this better than the highly rated Mobula 6? Which go get ?
I prefer 2s whoops, if you have the inside space 2s is a lot of fun. Outside this will be more fun than the mob6. Camera in the 65pro is also better
Man that rips
Getting cold outside for you soon nick, will have to start wearing cloths in the back yard again
I might have another 5 weeks. :)
Nick Burns make the most of it cause it’s going to get nipply soon.
Are u using d16 mode on frsky?
no, d16 on spi receivers does not work well. D8 is needed on these spi receivers. If you have a newer or updated frsky radio, we will need to buy a multimodule to get d8 mode back.
Yay! A whoop
How does one get over the nervousness and fear of first time flying?
I don't think I know the "switch", I would think having two working quads would help. If you already have two, a few deep breaths before arming. Maybe spend some time on a computer simulator?
That will stop the more you fly. I think it happens to most. Better to start on a simulator then move to smaller indoor quads and have the stick movements burned into memory so when you go out to fly it's already there without thinking.
@@lesterg3330 i would start with a simulator but the transmiter i have can't be used for a simulator and the only game is that drl type game for ps4. I only have the transmitter that came with the novice 3 for now
@@rasheedgregory3459 I started on freerider on my phone. My very first purchase was a controller right after. Started with the flysky evolotion that cost less then $100 and plugged it into my phone. I believe everyone should start with a sim and controller. Once you have the stick movements burned in you that's when the addiction starts
Hi I’m thinking of getting one which receiver binds with the Taranis qx7
does your taranis show d8 in the binding? If so the frsky will work but for best range and compatibility the R-XSR version.
Mine is d16
@@jordanthornton2098 Then you would want the R-XSR version
Ok that great thank you for the help
Have you tried whoop racing?
I have not. Very much a challenge to make it to fpv events, nothing local, closest I have heard of is 90mins away, which doesn't seem like much but with a family its tough to pull a day away from them.
Nick Burns yeah. We are on the same boat 😉
Do you put a DVR on all these whoops? You never have any breakup. Great flying. Also this or Mob 7?
Lastly, mob 6 in mob 7 frame or mob 7 in mob 6 frame?
No changes to the quad, this is dvr from the goggles. I currently use the orca goggles with rapid fire module. Generally run raceband 8. This combination in my environment seems to have the best reception.
@@NickBurnsFPV thanks for the response Mr. Burns. You seem to get much better reception in your house. Lol
Where could we buy those connectors?
This is the only place I have seen them www.aliexpress.com/i/4001188506923.html
@@NickBurnsFPV Answer from the man himself. Thank you Nick Burns, I will try them out. :)
Hey just wondering how do you fly this 1s? Can you just plug one battery and fly or do you need to plug the second connector?
we need a jump in the other connector. Mine didn't come with one, we can make our own or use something like a computer type jumper.
Nice 👍
Can this take a crossfire receiver?
I believe so it has rx1 and tx1 uarts.
@@NickBurnsFPV thank you Nick. I have a Tango 2 and am planning for an indoor whoop for autumn winter in the UK...
Any suggestions?
House size half the size of yours.
@@gmivisualsjason3729 maybe the mobula 6 or the humming bird, I have both on the channel and I believe both can take a crossfire receiver. I suggest 1s as the space sounds like it might be tight for 2s. Dronejunkie carries the hummingbird.
@@NickBurnsFPV thank you Nick
Good broo ayem i frome Indonesia
I'm really disappointed that this has the same terrible motor noise vtx interference that the Mob6 has.
@Russell Phelan It's actually motor noise in the vtx. It's the horizontal lines that are present anytime the motor are running.
@Russell Phelan won't work. The vtx is on the board and the noise in internal. I tried fixing it on the mob6. You just have to live with it.
@Russell Phelan I tried a bunch of things on the mob6. The interference is there with no camera connected.
@Russell Phelan capacitors on the battery input, different antenna, moved antenna, various camera configs. Theres not much else to do given that the vtx is built into the board.
Late night coffee speed runs? :D 👍👍
No coffee but yes, inside daytime is limited to weekends with everyone home all day and mom and I working from home.
How to let everyone at the race know you're American lol
wonder when/where we'll be able to buy those connectors and how they'll compare to the bt2.0, ph2.0, and xt30.
I have seen them on aliexpress. Hopefully coming to soon to fpv shops.
Funny how they are kinda porking us on this new who0p released a couple of days after Newbeedrone FINALLY releases a new who0p where they aren't porking us on their typical super high prices! *I think their new who0p at $79.99 is a MUCH, MUCH BETTER DEAL!*
Nice flying like usual and great looking video!
