  • A slower, more contemplative track for those quieter moments. This time we really focus in on the spacious sound and solo cello prevalent in Jon Everist's work for HBS's Battletech.

Gives me an exploration vibe, good stuff man glad to see you're keeping those creative juices moving.
If I had one regret in joining the military is I rarely find time to be creative and when I do I have no inspiration. Always a treat to see your work pop up.

Ramblings are great to read, I'll give some my old hobbies a whirl maybe I can get the juices flowing who knows in these crazy times. Stay safe (that goes to anyone who may be reading this.)

This is a really great piece! The music pieced with the art sets my imagination on fire. I've been reading up and learning about Battletech and this only makes me want to learn more. This is inspiring

Gorgeous music. Some of my favorite music to listen to when writing sci-fi.

Hey man, loved your work for awhile. It's cool that someone's keeping those old school mechwarrior vibes alive. I'm really interested in trying my hand at making music like this but I have no clue where to even start. Are there any tutorials or forums/guides that really helped at the beginning? I mostly need to figure out what programs to use and where to get the instruments/voices from. Also, for my own curiosity, do you have any formal training in music or are you all self taught? Thanks! :)

@@DCBruinsMedia This is perfect! That's exactly what I needed, the tips on programs and the example instrument packs are super helpful. That's cool that your so good at this without any music theory training, gives me a smidge of hope. Though I've played way fewer instruments. If I ever get something half presentable going I'll be sure to credit you for helping me and send it your way for critique.
Thanks again for taking the time to write this up and good luck in your future works!!

Not that i encourage it but if money for DAWs and sound packs are an issue I know at least with FL Studio as long as you aren't turning a profit with it you won't get into too much trouble for getting the cracked versions. I know some artist namely Zardonic got pretty famous before getting a real copy and he is now sponsored by the company that makes FL.
Again not a suggestion just some info.

As someone who streams (not very well) it'd be great if there was a means of buying the track with a view to having it on while I broadcast.
