You’re so right. I met one of my very best friends 49 years ago under similar circumstances. She taught me so much about fashion and proper etiquette. Over the years, we’ve shared so much more together. She’s been a true blessing to my life.

I use to write letters for the guys that could not write in prison. I wrote a letter for an older mexican man, to his wife. As a kind gesture. He was surprised by my offer and once he got use to it, we composed some really nice letters to her. She was very happy to get the letters. His whole family wrote him letters. Other inmates learned of this and requested my help. Once everybody knew about it, I made many friends writting letters and helping the under educated people get things done that required writting etc. Inmates came to me for advice. It helped me pass the time and made things easier for everybody.
My father had a similar experience. He was branded "unreliable/enemy of the state" during the communist days. As a result when he got conscripted for his mandatory army service he was sent to the worst army camp. It was filled with gypsies, illiterate people, etc. He would help the other soldiers write letters to their families. This was in communist Bulgaria in the late 1980s. Btw, the actor who plays the Russian musician in the movie is also Bulgarian.

He's totally right though. That PS was perfect. When you make a huge move in any performing act: whether you're debating and drop a huge rhetorical bomb, or reciting a song and hit the high note perfect, or write a beautiful love letter to your wife, putting in a small, almost irrelevant thing just after it creates a funny way of contrasting it with the big moment you created. Its in a lot of music, too. You reach the explosive end of a song, and instead of ending it there, you have a small, 2-3 note little bullshit that you tack onto the end. Its funny and it makes the explosion seem bigger by comparison.
I just love this! They’re both learning about one another and supporting each other. I only hope they have more movies together! They have such an amazing chemistry!
I loved this movie! These 2 guys from such different backgrounds developed such a friendship for each other it made me cry, both are better for the friendship!
Honestly, I think the “PS” can be the best part of a letter. It’s breaks the formality and gives it a genuine feeling. When I was writing my family while traveling, PS was the part of the letter I loved the most.
I love the scene. the relationship between them. "PS. Kiss kid" show how Tony love their family and it make Don know about this. Tony is an impulsive person but he care his family a lot.
