    In my opinion this is probably the best mike tyson interview about success that you can find anywhere on the internet. Mike Tyson has always been ahead of his time when it comes to timeless wisdom. In this Mike Tyson interview he talks about some of his challenges and the mindset that he used to become one of the most fear fighters in boxing history.

    This man is a hero of mine. He shouldn't be here. Shouldn't be alieve. His life is proof. Endure the pain and keep fighting, even after they destroy you. Rise from the ashes!!! Mike does wear his heart on his sleeve. for that we love him.

      Can someone pls explain what he means more about the analogy between life and the hand of cards you got and the dice that you roll?

    • @Inncognito777
      @Inncognito777 9 років тому +9

      Henry Bobby With craps it's one and done; very rigid. And in a narrow sense it applies to life when you take a gamble doing something. Either it's gonna pay off or not. You get one roll.
      With cards, you stay in the game. It's not over with one hand. You try to stay in and do the best with the cards your dealt with. Like life overall it's free flowing organic. And cards is a mental game. Sometimes you gotta keep your cards close to your chest, not let anyone know what your doing but you. Sometimes you gotta bluff, put on a front to psyche out your opponents to let em think you got more game/juice than you really have to make em think twice. Other times you gotta know when to hold (your ground) in the hopes of a big payoff (financially, emotionally, socially), or times you gotta be smart and know when to fold. Know when to walk away, know when to run.
      I could go on but I'm pretty sure you get the picture. Cards is more like life overall. Dice is more like a sliver of it...

    Mike is the shit. Most people don't know what it's like to have other people make you feel bad. They don't. As a life long thing. People jumping at the chance to put you beneath them. It's nature. It's competition. Mike is not weak. All weak people could rise up if they wanted to, if they had heart. Most people don't know obstacles. I love Mike.

But then again who knows there from to different eras whos to say who can beat who im just a die hard Tyson fan it's a Brooklyn type of thing but Ali is my boy dont get me wrong.

      RsTwins100 Mike Tyson was as fast as anyone in the heavy weight division, he probably shouldn't have been a heavy weight, he could have easily dropped a class. I think that Mike has successfully shown that fighting in the ring doesn`t define him. People respect him for the ability to face troubles head on and not to turn away from life or who he is. I think that when he eventually passes, he will not only be remembered for being a great fighter but also a great man. Unlike any other fighter I`ve followed, he is more than a boxer. He`s a great man and I think a very wise one. He`s become what most boxers want in their `retirement`, a good example to others.

    People like him , boxing people love him.Love his passion for fighting. A contemptuous warlord ready to fight Achilles is a awesome articulation of how a real champion fighter feels. A feeling only evocable in special people that can conjure that thought with some degree of craziness to believe it. Kevin Rooney always said all fighters are a little crazy which pertains to that belief. That belief turns them into authentically tough people like Tony Zale, Mike Tyson and Roberto Duran, axe murderers wielding leather.

    Amazing insight here by Tyson. He is 100% correct about intimidation and the effect it can have in any situation. For example I remember back in high school I talked my way into people perceiving me as a total badass without them even seeing me fight, I was viewed as the hardest in the school without even having to fight anybody. Its all about self belief and confidence....by senior year I was not the biggest or toughest guy yet my "rep" carried me through and nobody messed with me. PSYCHOLOGY!!
