I am a new subscriber and I love the simplicity and high quality of your meals. Thank you for sharing your food ideas with us - I will surely incorporate some of them in my family!
Love your videos, simple, but high quality nutritious food. Can you vlog 1 week of meals please? I am always running out of ideas and need food I can take with me to work. Merci encore!
Hello. I've already tried to do this but I didn't succeed because I have busier days than others at my office and sometimes I don't have time to film. But I'm keeping it in the pipeline anyway, maybe for a quieter period at my work. Thanks for watching ☺️
Hello. In general I eat 80 to 120 grams of animals proteins per day,. It's high protein for me as I'm short (1m60) and pretty slim (51 kilos). The minimum protein just to survive (just breathe) is 0.63 grams per kilo of weight because we lose nitrogen every day and it must be replaced through our diet. High protein is easy for me as I eat a lot of cheese (27 gram of protein for 100 grams). Our needs are individuals and depend on our height, weight, age and level of activity so what works for me may not works for you. Have a nice day 😊
I adapted a previous salad dressing you had shown to marinade fresh chicken and it came out so tender! I enjoy your meal prep as it gives me inspiration for my meals 😊🎉
Your videos are excellent. I rewatch them every day. Very informative and inspirational. No need to change them in my opinion. Thank you. Joe and Gigi.
I really like your videos. Quick recipes using good quality, fresh ingredients. This is the key to good diet. The part of the vidoe with notre dame put a big smile on my face. ❤
I'm so glad you like my recipes ☺️ I like cooking and sharing my recipes.and of course talking about food and healthy eating. I'm delighted when people appreciate my videos as much as if I had someone over for dinner who appreciated my cooking. Have a nice evening.
Great video!! I actually cooked duck for myself for the first time ever after seeing one of your previous videos. I love figs, will definitely try this recipe for duck & figs together. I love your simple, nutritious, high quality food and I love the glimpses of beautiful Paris, too!
I love your balcony garden! What are the proportions of the vinaigrette? There are a lot of French restaurants where I live, and their mustard vinaigrettes are so good! Do you ever add honey or maple syrup?
Hello, I put a teaspoon of mustard, 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar and 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil. It lasts me two meals in general. I don't add honey or maple syrup. Thanks for watching ☺️
I love figs and i bet they go so well with duck! And funnily enough iv'e just eaten two large ripe figs with some camembert and goats cheese right before watching your video!. Thank you, see you soon🙋♂️
Hello. Figs with goat cheese, that sounds delicious! I'm going to try. I've heard of brie with grapes but I've never tried. But figs it's a great idea. Thanks for this idea and for watching, Have a nice evening ✨
Hi! Thanks for sharing! Aren’t you bored sometimes with your breakfast? I mean it’s usually all the same every day (every video). Have you counted the macros of the whole day of eating?
Hello. I never get tired of this breakfast which varies a little bit from one day to the next. For example, sometimes I eat eggs instead of cheese. When I like something I can eat it every day without getting bored. I didn't count the macros, I don't count anymore because now I instinctively know what I need without thinking about it. I just pay attention to my protein intake as I want it to stay high. Thanks for watching ☺️
The duck looks amazing. Not something found commonly here in the States, unless you hunt or raise your own. I actually don't know anyone who's eaten duck. Goose used to be a thing for Christmas but not anymore. Same blah turkey which people have resorted to frying. Maybe we would enjoy duck more! Thank you for sharing.
Hello. Duck is fattier and therefore tastier than turkey. that being said i think that with a good chicken that still has its skin, duck recipes can be try and work perfectly. For Christmas for instance. Have a nice evening ✨
I have watched a couple of your videos and i love that you can have lunch at home on a work day. I have been thinking about upping my step count too - did you walk home for lunch then walk back? I feel like this is a great idea but sometimes i feel like it's a hurdle. I don't even live that far from work...
Hello, when I have lunch at home it's because I work from home. On the days I go to my office, as you can see in some videos, I eat on site at my desk and it's usually a picnic because there's no kitchen to reheat or store. I couldn't go back for lunch because I work 45 minutes from home, so the round trip would be 1:30 just for the walk. But when I go to my office, I walk to go in the morning and I walk back in the evening too. Thanks for watching ☺️
@@easyfrenchdiet Ah right! I thought i discovered some hidden French people don't get fat secret there :P but obviously that makes a lot sense. I love how you make a picnic out of your office lunch for sure. :)
Bonjour...I adore your blogs. Merci. I know you have an educated background in dietetics so appreciate the food ideas. I can not purchase Comte' cheese in small town USA but heard Edam is close? I live in Wisconsin a famous cheese production State so have many nice cheeses. I would love to have you make French Ratatouille for us. Merci.
Hello. Merci 🙂 Comté is a cheese that comes from the mountains, so it has a lot of taste. I think that Swiss cheese might be closer. Edam has much less taste. Thanks for watching ☺️ have a nice evening ✨
Hello, I don't know where you live and shop, but in my area magret de canard is not more expensive than chicken or pork. But I don't eat duck every day either. Have a nice day
Hello. I only look at restaurant menus to get ideas for recipes to reproduce at home. But yes, you're right, it looks cheaper. But I don't know if it's a high quality restaurant. I've never been there. Thanks for watching ☺️
Hello. When you pair carbs with protein it is proved to slow the absorption of glucose into the bloodstream. So no problem in this department. That being said, we must of course stay within reasonable portions and choose unprocessed carbohydrates. Thanks for watching ☺️
Handwritten recipes! I love it.
Hello. yes it is a very precious and special book for me. Have a nice evening ✨
I love that you show the street views,it's beautiful and makes the video more fun and real-life.
Thanks 😊 yes I like to walk in Paris and to film the streets.

This may be a tall order, but, if that was possible, it would be such a treat, I agree!

@@easyfrenchdiet I understand, can you give us your macros for the day then? High protein isn't easy.

Yes it is!
Nice healthy food 😊
Glad you like 😌

Duck is one of my favorite things in the world. I rarely have it, because it's not as available where I live and it's a bit expensive.
Hello. Yes it's so versatile and delicious. But indeed it can be expensive. Have a nice day 😊

Thanks. Yes it is extra virgin olive oil. Have a nice evening ✨
That all looked so scummy. I love proper cheese and it's always a joy when in France to have such an excellent cheese choice for breakfast.
I love duck thanks for sharing how you cook it
I will share my foie gras I make for Christmas 🎄🎁

What a delicious meal for dinner. Do you score the duck skin before you fry it?
Hello. No I don't. I cut it afterwards. Thanks for watching ☺️
Just curious what company name is your steel frying pan please? Not the teflon non stick one.
Hello, I bought it on the French website of kitchen items called Mathon. Have a nice day
I’m loving your videos! Would love a tour of your apartment if you are comfortable with that. Is it an historic building?🇨🇦
Hello. Yes, I live in an old building from the beginning of the 19th century, very typical of Paris but quite ordinary. Thanks 🙏

I have eaten multigrain toast with apricot fruit spread every day for over 20 years lol.
