The legendary module recycler is a great mod. It allows you to strip perks from weapons and armor and place them on the gear that you like. No more SSing.
It’s mind boggling to me that so many can’t find astra currency. Maybe it’s my play style, but I already had over a hundred astra before realizing these were available.
The last couple of days I've been grinding trying to max out the rest of my skills and I kept going back to areas that I had just looted even after sleeping sleeping for 96 hours on Venus I was not able to get the previous locations I reloaded to reset
I haven't used Venus for this in a while, but on Copernicus IV sleeping 24 hours (local) is 2400 hours UT. I think that will reset just about anything (if it can be reset).
I have found one Astra in the Kreet lab during the starting path from the final box (just before opening the door to the roof). So my answer is "I don't think so." They appear to just be loot now. The character in this video is level 152 and is only getting 1 at a time on a very low level system. I have seen 2 in a box, but seems rare.
You have much, MUCH more patience than I do. Kudos to you. The sad thing is that. if you are still going thru NG+ universes, you will lose all your hard work each time.
Yes! I like to think I saved viewers a lot of time or gave them information they can use if/when they decide they want them. :) Short version, I do it for the people that watch. Happy to do it (and I'm always curious too).
Well, I wouldn't exactly call it 'work'. ;) Some PC players, just gift themselves a lot of Astras. I wanted to see what it would take on Xbox as well. I've done more than a few 'extended Starfield statistical studies' though.
Interesting question. The game is full of limits on loot drops based on level and location. I would expect those same limits to exist for him, e.g. if I were a level 10 character I wouldn't expect a Hard Target drop. In my tests, I don't recall seeing any "Superior" items, but I think there are no superior weapons in the game at all (at least labeled). I didn't record if items were Advanced, Calibrated, Refined, but one could. These are all really just observational studies. So regarding 'proof', I'd say there's little proof of anything in the game beyond what we observe. If you have a specific article or video that makes that claim, I'd look at it. Could end up being a fun test or reacts to video.
BTW: Having trouble with the Crimsen Fleet quest line. I finished the one mission that ends with the Galbank robbery, supposed to report in at the Vigilance, but it's not appearing. The quest marker takes me to Mars (Phobos?) but it's not there. I remember in the past that it's in the Olympus system, all the other SysDef's ships are there, but no Vigilance. Any ideas? Tried exiting, reloading, going back to leaving the Siren of the Stars, no good.
@@kineer Just before seeing this, I was going back and forth between other stuff and miraculously a marker showed up for the Vigilance showing that it was 50km away. Max'd my engines and boosted about 40 times to reach it. Docking now! Damn glitches. Looks like that's what others experienced and solved as well.
I have that option too, but I try to make content for Xbox and PC players so I 'did the work.' ;) That said, what do you think about the suits? Useful for you or just interesting to have? I was trying to think of a 'highly corrosive' environment. I remember a derelict ship once, but otherwise just an occasional planet.

You're right. It's all over the place now. I think you get one before you even make it off Kreet as you start the game.
I tried to get the suits but gave up, was just taking way too long. Kudos to your level of patience!
I finally got a bold space suit and a mirrored one at that too, something I've been looking for quite a while. :) Back to the hunt for more.
My best way of farming astra is boarding varun ships in serpentis system they always have 1 or 2 in the captain's locker
Good spawn rate there. Makes sense you could farm them.

I got full vibrant, got the pack after 9 astra, total of 36 astra full suit.... can't get bold anything though, tried so hard
I'd say the Vibrant is better. The time to get Bold was crazy. I watched so much UA-cam. :)
Dang thats a lot of work, the return on my time wouldn't be worth it. I get a lot of them when I rehome a ship, so ill just save them up for now.

I spent nearly 2000 Astra to get both sets. Just use console commands. The games progression is too long. Im 120 hours in
