Jenna ortega is amazing in the opening scene i think was one of the best opening of the scream franchise ❤
Hospital scene. They mention earlier that they are putting her on a private floor for protection, that's why the dead security guy was there.
Private Room, not Private Floor. And the whole wing/floor being empty is a HUGE mess up, really.

this was is so much fun with all the nostalgia. But it was also something new and I loved it. Scream 6 is a masterpiece imo. can't wait.
I havent read thru all your comments to know if your question was Answerd but the reason why no one was at the hospital was because after sams attack at the hospital they said they would move Tara to a Privite Floor

The one thing that annoyed me with this film, is that the killer clearly towered above Dewey in height, and yet it was the 5ft1 girl who kills him...
I get they need to keep the killers identity a mystery, but come on 😂😂
In these movies the height doesn't factor in because it would make it too obvious. Usually the person behind the mask appears to be tall

they call it Scream (2022) because the first four original movies were made by Wes Craven, 1996-2011, and Wes unfortunately passed in August of 2015, so whenever they made this they had a whole new everything. This is like a remake/continuation; new characters new stakes.
The cast in this movie are like the 20 year old 2-demensional videogame characters from a Dark Pictures videogame, like Man of Medan or Little Hope or whatever, but an actual IRL version of them somehow
I gotta say I've watched alot of reactions to this scream but your channel and one other channel have guessed what the hallucinations of Billy meant, it didn't mean he was ghost, or whatever it was just Samantha is crazy and has to take meds to not have those visions. When I watched this movie the first time I wasn't sure how I felt about Billy visions but it grew on me, the one thing that threw me off was actually Samantha, now I don't know if it's the actress, the script or directors but something about her just throws me off, like the reveal to her sister on the hospital bed, I can basically see the line breaks between sentences on the script. Meanwhile Jenny Ortega is really good in that scene. And then I see how everyone else in movie acts to see if it's the script and they come off as natural even Amber, the only one that stands out is Samantha. But that's just my opinion. R.I.P Dewey it broke my heart and broke me down in tears seeing that.🕊💐
The V in the M of SCREAM, was RED, so the Title actually said SCREAM 5. And they got rid of it. I say their worst mistake, ever. But that is just me. The WHOLE series is AWESOME!

Judy told Sam after Sam was attacked that she would move Tara to a private floor of the hospital. That’s why it was so empty later on when Tara is attacked and Dewey died.
Sidneys husband is the cop from scream 3. The twins are my favorite especially in the next movie

I’m a scream OG. I was 14 when the original came out and I saw it 5 times in the theater. I was nervous to see this reboot when it happened in 2022 but I love it. The way it winks at the original is so nostalgic for me. I thought it was very well executed and a lot of fun. I personally don’t like Scream 6 all that much. It’s a big step down from this one and with Scream 3 on my list as my two least favorite Scream movies. But even the worst Scream movies are great. It’s my favorite franchise

I liked the part at the party in the movie when they said "Here's to WES". Kind of a Silent THANK YOU to Wes Craven.
Radio Silence weren't the smartest when they killed Kyle Gallner's Vince off so early especially since he's related to Stu. I remember seeing Kyle in so many horror movies in the past and the remake of NOES. His outsider character should of lasted longer because by the time Act 3 happened, I guessed the killers. They needed that big red herring not to mention Vince is related to one of the OG killers lol. The perfect ending of Scream V, would of been Vince and Sam both in the OG house and Vince saving Sam. Stu's relative saving Billy's. Holy shit. How could Radio Silence fuck up so much with Vince? Great movie and this is when Jenna started to become a trend and she became my favorite. Everytime I see Jenna, I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't say Wednesday, but I call her TARA. More of a Slasher Horror fan than a Horror Comedy. Tara holds so many parallels to Laurie Strode. Ghostface coming behind her in the beginning just like in Halloween with Laurie. Tara's in the hospital, getting saved by an older expert of the killer only to sacrifice himself to save her. Just like Halloween with Dr. Loomis and Laurie Strode. Scream VI is my favorite Scream sequel :D . I fucking love Jenna Ortega in these and even Mason Gooding (he does more in 6).
One thing I noticed, Dewey's killer and Amber has two different personalities. Ghostface said it's an honor and Amber basically stated 'Dewey died like a pussy'. It just feels like that killer obviously wasn't Amber and I'll never buy it was lol. Ghostface had abit of a stomach, very tall and strong and saw killing a legacy character as 'an honor'. Amber just has a bitchy personality.

Ngl, this one is my least favorite of the series.. Not that it was terrible, (the opening scene was pretty great, the kills were brutal, and it introduced some cool characters), but it definitely had some issues.
I'm really looking forward to your reaction to Scream 6... I really enjoyed that one and I bet you will too.

Mindy 🥰 my favorite new character! She's just like her uncle. She and Kirby from Scream 4 are my favorite. The recreation of Randy's scene with Mindy in his place is my favorite scene in the whole movie.
Also,, so glad to finally have some real representation for my community in the franchise - a lot of people complained because it was "woke"... Ah yes, "woke": otherwise known as diversity, inclusivity, or representation of minorities and/or historically marginalized communities, along with sensitivity, respect, and equal treatment of those communities.
Totally and COMPLETELY agree re. the necessary representation, better late than never. I think "we" should take back the term "woke," you described it perfectly. There's no logical reason why anyone should be upset about some long-awaited respect, sensitivity & inclusivity & when people weaponize these concepts, it tells me to stay far away from people like that. 🥰💓💗

Also Doofus really leaned into dumb decisions in this film. Poor Gail Weathers
Loved this movie so much. The new generation were worthy sucessors to Sid, Dewey, and Gale. Not happy with Paramount for firing Mellissa Barrera.

This one is actually my least favorite. I just couldn't connect with the characters or story. Alot of them didn't get alot of character development so when they died off I simply didn't care. I also wasn't a fan of the death scenes in this film oitside of a couple of them. I felt this film was missing scenes that i would feel would be nostalgic or iconic years later when compared to the earlier films. This one burnt bright but went out fast for me. Six is a great film and I would rank it above 5 & 3 but below 1,2, & 4. Can't wait for your reaction to that one. Ricchie is a big factor for me not being able to connect to this film as well because I was introduced to Jack in The Boys so I have that iconic character type he played so well stuck in my head.

I just got a suggestion for you watching scream 6 and I was like I don't remember him reacting to scream 5 so yep here I am and also before I watch you react to scream 6 I want to watch you react to 50 first dates I love that movie and by the way these new b****** they're both gone because the one is racist and was posting all these anti-jewish things and she got fired because of that and the girl who plays her little sister was on some b******* about how she doesn't have time being a TV actor and all not like they've never had TV actors on this thing before I mean hello Gail was Monica Geller (who was Jewish) for several of the scream movies
Trust me when I say it's amazing what people can actually survive. Tara surviving is actually more realistic than some of the deaths in the original films. Like in Scream 3, the actress Sarah Darling (played by vaccine conspiracy theorist and wannabe [taken seriously as an] actress Jenny McCarthy) is simply stabbed in the back... ONCE. Or some of the people in the franchise who got their throats slit... that can be survivable too.

This movie was very good, but I'm not a fan of the killer's motives. Feels pretty weak to me. It sure is topical and relevant in a way, but not very believable. Most movie fans are too whimpy to be violent people.
I really dislike This movie. The original are Not here anymore just lack of scène and New teenager characters ARE just boring and Bad acting and Killing Dewey was the worst choice ever.. Hope Neve will be back for the 7
