I've seen this deck add Loaming Shamans for when it's about to deck itself. The first time I saw them empty their library I said 'Good Game'. Then they played Loaming Shaman, refilled the library, then smashed my face. It was glorious.
I love the Elemental deck. I've been playing the Temur version with lil Chandra, 6 mana Chandra, Nissa & Omnath. I use both Creeping Trailblazer & Icon of Ancestry. It's my favorite deck right now. Love the video CGB!
I hit my Risen Reef with a doubled, kicked Rite of Replication once in a game with friends. Our slower format lets wacky combos like this happen. So that's how I got all my lands into play in one turn.
Can you please make a video before rotation of jim Davis' esper list that revolves around fall of the thran/ashiok combo that he top 8'd fandom legends with. Looks really good for the meta.
I play 2 mana aggro elementals nobody's figured out yet. Two types of Chandra mixed with healing glades and and creeping trailblazers. The low mana cost mixed with chandra buffs is nice. Thinking lavakin brawler, scampering scorcher, and thunderkin to chump block and attack as well. Not sure on which instant I want to keep them out of chainwhirler range yet. It keeps up with mono red nicely so far though.
Why not run arboreal grazer in the one drop slot to help you ramp. Stays alive often times when elves wouldn’t and has reach to help with blue white flyers matchup
Griffin Smith Grazer is good in decks that care about lands (namely field of the dead decks). This deck wants to make land drops but doesn’t have a ton of lands to spare
I'm running a similar deck and do use the grazer in the 1 drop slot, and honestly regret it 4 out of 5 games i play. It's one of those things that can ramp great if you have a perfect opening hand, but completely sucks any other time. At least with healer of the glad if you get it a bit late it gives life, triggers risen reef, and doesn't die to chandra.
I'm a simple man, I see 4 color elementals, I click Like. Certainly helps that I climbed from Gold to Platinum with a very similar deck in bo3. Differences are I'm only running 2 omnath and 2 spark double, shock and chandra are in sideboard with 4x Veil of Summer and Negate, and main deck 1 Jace, and added 2 FotD. It's a bit slower to start, but by turn 8 or 9 I can either flood the field, Omnath the face or deck myself with Jace.
Yarok makes this deck so nice. Right now, I use a green blue twist of this deck to deck my self with Jace, but I might add black mana just for yarok in the future.
I like it, never really dared to properly go 4 color in my reef deck. I wonder how spark double would stack up here. Gives some great flexibility in playing duplicate legendaries and stacking triggers.
spark double is fantastic in this deck. you can copy omnath for dmg and triggers, reefs for draw, yarok for everything, or a second chandra. The ONLY downside to spark double is playing against control decks that don't let you keep any creatures to copy on the field.
Maybe trying to play the card without having enough mana to play it (or with auto-mana tapping deactivated) and, while the game prompts you to pay that mana, concede. I think that if you don't concede the card isn't shown to the opponent.
love the videos! just noticed I wasn't subscribed! there's like 50 different ways to build elementals an I love it! I got a janky brew for ya blood sun lotus field 5 color Cavaliers with reef, rejuvinator to fetch field
I built a deck I wanted to try in Bo3. But apparently people like to build Elemental Scapeshift Nexus of Fate decks there now and I silently glided back to Bo1 again. Holy moly that was some solitaire games of unprecedented magnitudes...
i made a little change because i didnt have all the cards but it works so good, thats my enemy keeps quitting all the games. Love your Deckguides. Keep up the good work.
Why are you playing black lands? You can use Neoform or the creature-type land to play Yarrok without black producing lands and that would help, isn't it?
you are correct, my version usually gets Yarok out with Neoform anyhow only running 2 of them. However on the rare occasions I actually draw a Yarok, having black sources in addition to unclaimed territory just increases the chances of playing it instead of getting stuck. Mana fixing is just all about reducing the statistical chance of getting screwed.
OMG, elementals with Risen Reef is so cool. The only question is, should I play red with Omnath and Chandra or black with Yarok. Both decks are so cool! Which one should I play? CGB, what do you play? Red or black? CGB: "Yes"
since black is just for Yarok I only run 1-2 of him and a couple black sources since you can almost always just fetch and play him for free with Neoform.

@@justinethridge9157 My list is similar.Trailblazer as lord, pumping everything, including Chandra's fire elementals (these also pump Wildgrowth Elemental). Other Chandra for mana and buff. Steamkin goes crazy in the later game, as most of my elementals are red. I am tried Stormkin vs Thunderkin and found the Stormkin with evasion more useful. Right now, I have two Lavakin Brawlers and two Scampering Scorchers, but I guess the Scorcher is the better card in an aggro list. Maybe I will indlcue Yarok and using Unclaimed Territory to cast it.
hey cgb, maby the guy from 9:42 shares my problem. MTGA is somtimes freezing for ~10 seconds, so after all he might not be tanking that hard about this play :-)
actually, it can! Assuming bo1 and you get lucky. At least my tweaked but similar version can with FotD. Elementals can ramp HARD, you just need a couple turns of your opponent not having the instant speed removal at the right time.
Excuse me sir... You claim Reef breaks game. I watched video and nowhere does Reef break game. CGB, Please see my videos for actual game breaking content 😚
How do these UA-camrs have every single card one would want? I've started playing this game recently and sunk $60 and still don't have a hundredth of what I want. Wizards of the Coast is a predatory company *cough**casino**cough* and I'm ashamed I spent as much as I did. This game was the first and last microtransaction money pit I'll ever support. Can anyone justify charging $3.5 for a single run of a freaking game mode (draft) inside a digital multiplayer game?! Call of Duty is saintly compared to Mtg Arena. Smh, sorry about the rant but I haven't played games for over two years only to return to an industry that has progressively become more manipulative and money grubbing. It costs them almost nothing to have you play and collect cards but they'll restrict access to vital features and content to price it ridiculously in the hope of siphoning as much money as possible. I just want to know how much these UA-camrs spend just to sustain their card collections.
-Holmes, how do i become good at Magic?
-Elementally, dear Watson!

@13:13 I haven't seen that many triggers since the last Trump rally!!! XD

LOL at mentioning yarok then saying 'right right now now'
Yeah, I find I dont like more than one reef active.
As far as the mana base, I lean on the 'unless you control a
Terak those are check lands

Defintly i need made a deck of elementals
whats your opinion about this deck?
Very competitive deck. Worth the wildcards.
Elemental decks are my favorite, they're just so much fun
23:40 How did the opponent show the card?
I am also wondering the same thing.
yea please someone tell me i wanna know !

I’ve been running something similar to this deck since prerelease with jace as a second wincon

What? If you "play" a card that you don't have the mana for, your opponent sees it? 🤔🤔🤔 @23:38
Very cool deck and great playing as always. Definitely gonna build it for the weekend play, thanks.

Mirror march makes some dirty stuff with reef.
Another top notch video by CGB. Keep it up lad
I love elementals, thanks for the decklist!
"Omnath face. Easy 20." Ayup
I like playing elementals, I have an aggro list. 3 mana Chandra goes very well together with Wildgrowth Elemental.

should drop some stuff into the deck that lets you put your grave back into the deck.
Liking solely for that Dolph Ziggler reference
The only suggestion I have is that until rotation play with 1 Reliquary Tower
hey cgb, maby the guy from 9:42 shares my problem. MTGA is somtimes freezing for ~10 seconds, so after all he might not be tanking that hard about this play :-)
I am loving 4 Color Elementals
Omnath 20 to -7 in 1 turn. Jesus
Wrasslin fan, tuning in
Was that Dolph zigglers theme song? Hahaha
Very zesty
Bo3 games are gold and entertaining and informative
I want this deck in paper, but it’s $350 lmao.
I wish I could afford nice things...
#rotationproof
Pretty much the 5 annoying meta decks are
Mono red cavalcade
Any baby teferi deck
Scapeshift
Elementals
Any nissa deck
In b4 post-rotation Risen Reef ban.
Nah, they'll just nerf it with a new permanent. Remember the broken Wilderness Reclamation? Yeah, Teferi remembers it, too. 🤣
It cant compete against feather decks
actually, it can! Assuming bo1 and you get lucky. At least my tweaked but similar version can with FotD. Elementals can ramp HARD, you just need a couple turns of your opponent not having the instant speed removal at the right time.
I’m ready for check lands to leave Standard.

MTG ARENA NEWS EVERYONE coming soon 2x Wildcards for 1 Historic & old cards being Rotated ruining game play.
first
This is the most boring deck ever but I like your videos Blue :D Peace.
It is pure pleasure to beat an elemental deck; one of the most irritating archetypes in the meta.
Second
He quit cause it's super annoying when your opponent is taking to long
