Molly and Carla: go to Italy to learn how to make mozzarella cheese at a professional production facility Brad: has a guy who lives in a van come to his backyard
I like to imagine Brad and Cody met in such a weird way. Like Cody was on a spirit journey in the woods and meanwhile Brad is crashing through the forest with a cast iron skillet and a mason jar of fermented chillis. Then they bond over Grateful Dead songs and camp fire food. Friends for 30 years
Cody is a very good fit! Very entertaining episode. Maybe Bon Appetit needs a cheese maker on it's staff? Maybe a cheese series?! Sure he has a lot of experience with other foods/connections for good content as well.
Ridiculous! Alphonso mangoes - and only Alphonso - are the food of the gods. Second place is Dasheri mango. Dekopon orange is third. Fourth place, Shine Muscat grape. Then Cherimoya, Bing cherries, Nijisseiki pears, and Mangosteen.
Cody's fuggin awesome. Reminds me of old It's Alive.. just catchin magic between Brad and another witty human inside a camera... and pumpin it out to UA-cam
so like im 64 and my grandfather made the best bread. when we would go camping the raccoons would always go 4 the oranges and the bread 1st. He also made cheese. now this is a guy who was the asst state atty general of a southern state. his cheese molds had to be specially made as there were no such things commercially available at the time, i use them and have come to appreciate the craftsmanship of the molds. the 'lids are carefully weighted and the overall workmanship is amazing. they date to about the late 1950's and i also have his "bread bucket", a contraption that looks like a bucket with paddles that u crank, thereby kneading the dough. he was famous for his bread and justifiably so! I mean Raccoon approved right?
The sound effect they put for the cheese guy when he opens his mouth at 9:24 killed me. Everyone should go back and watch if you missed that little gem.
always love the half-awkward half-sympatico vibes between two actual friends working on camera. bet they're constantly thinking "don't give away your true weirdo friendship" lmao. good episode
In the early 80s my dad owned a pasta shop in Orlando FL and all the years that I was a chef I never made any mozzarella cheese so one day at the shop I was visiting and my dad said come on we gotta make some mozzarella I said OK my hands hurt for days afterwards between the boiling water and having to stretch the cheese and mold it I'd rather buy the fresh mozzarella in the store even though it tasted fantastic. But we did make some fresh mozzarella ,prosciutto and mortadella tortellini it was fantastic in a brown butter sauce topped with shaved black truffle and lecotelle Romano cheese Mmmmm.
Brads reaction to the milk is me every time I have a glass of milk period! Milk is so good & yet too much is not. It’s like an intricate dance and we got heavy metal on full blast baby!!! ANOTHER GLASS PLEASE!
The stoner energy of this is off the charts and I love it
When Brad opened the van and says it smells like maple syrup in there. I'm sure it smelled like something starting with M in that van
Thats why I need the visual and sound effects to keep me focused
Omg yes lol. Brad's buddy reminds of a 70s over child. Both guys are great.
When im not watching this channel I’m watching Seven Hunnid on UA-cam ,,.
Brad started losing the ability to speak over the course of the video and got 14/10 silly even for his standards :D
brad and codys' vibes are more symbiotic than the yeast/bacteria culture used in the fermentation
The whole video feels like watching two buddies high on shrooms do stuff
hahah... Brad seems to have that superpower to be anyone he meets' best friend.
I’ve never seen anyone match Brad’s energy so well! Cody’s a superstar!
More symbiotic than venom and Eddie lol
@@misterdeluxia5948 Nahh these guys are so groovy, they're just high on life
Molly and Carla: go to Italy to learn how to make mozzarella cheese at a professional production facility
Brad: has a guy who lives in a van come to his backyard
lmfao
I’m dying here 😂
And become a new dad.
And Brad gets it done. We love it here
The funny part is they didn’t even make any cheese for the pizza they were just there to see the cheese making process 😂
Friends for 30 years
This is beautiful
Smoker buddies
Wonder if a couple numbers got smoked around a fire pit during their mozzarella sleepover lol
I love this!!!
@@ZacMclaughlin Cody probably hid the stash jar when he knew they'd be filming his van
“Cody did it, he’s our new dad!” is probably my new favorite quote
That was way too funny
I lost it. 😂
I was hoping someone else caught that
When he asked do you know what a SCOBY is? It was Brads time to shine
SCOBY was Brad's mitochondria moment for sure.
Bring Cody back. Brad high energy and Cody's chill energy balanced well. 👌
100%
Yes!!! What a duo!
+++
I will never not appreciate a “big boy” crab compilation or a “good boy” dog compilation in the middle of an episode
⁹⁸⁹el ⁹
Always play the hits
toby goofy lives in my heart forever
Cody needs to be on more often! Love the energy between him and Brad. I'm here for it💚🍄✌️💫 maybe add matty for the stoner Trifecta!
Omw Matt, Brad and Cody that's the thing we need!!
Matty,Brad and Cody on the road-y!
Him and brad need their own series where they make different kinds of cheeses
Love it
Chance that the cheese guy has a hacky sack in his van approaches 100%.
Sitting next to a gigantic bag of weed.
One hacky sack is a guarantee. The question is whether or not he has more than five.
is that a calculus reference in an it’s alive comment section?
This was the comment I was looking for.
I stated my quote before reading this.
In my mind this is exactly how Ben and Jerry started but with cheese
this is the most perfect comment ive seen on youtube
Brad: “What’s that, worder?”
Cody: “This is worder”
This freaking killed me 😭😭😭
Give us more Cody content, love his chemistry with Brad
No! But also Yes! only if it happens naturally is what I mean to say haha. This was a really fun episode
Tell me you smoke pot without telling me you smoke pot.
"Cheese Magician"
Cheese mutation! Lol
When the food bin within your live-in 80's van is comprised of sweets and liquor
When you take a nap right after "breakfast"
Brad being possessive of the knife at 7:00 is just him being a human equivalent of a golden retriever again hahahaha
3:59 brad's never said anything with such confidence and annunciation before
Any cool person who spends more than 5 minutes with Brad is his best friend.
I had no idea this was the episode I've been waiting for this whole time.
Well said
vibes are unmatched between brad and cody
Cody should get his own show making cheese on the road or trying new ones! He’s a superstar! What a great personality 🤩
Major respect for Cody representing the Rockford Peaches. There is no crying in Baseball.
thanks 4 the tip-off, so to speak. 😊
Hopefully they're paying Brad well, he's single handedly keeping this channel alive lol
He bought a farm!
Love how they genuinely just have fun together and just accidentally capture 10% of it on camera!
also if you want to learn more about cheesemaking go buy Dave Asher's book "The Art of Natural Cheesemaking" - a true banger
❤❤
I just requested my library's copy!
You sir are a vibe
I can't be sure but I think that was a copy of THE GAME by Neil Strauss and they photoshopped the label.
If I could be one thing "when I grow up" it's to be a cheese mutation like you
The Cody and Brad combo show is amazing, they feed off eachother's energy really well, i'd love to see this duo comeback
the dynamic on these 2... perfection
The little montage of them riding bikes killed me😂😂
The vibe brad gives off in all of his videos is so comforting and positive. Freakin love It’s Alive
1000% positive these two dropped a couple of tabs together later that evening.
I love everyone involved in Its Alive because everyone is so much fun
Cody is a very good fit! Very entertaining episode. Maybe Bon Appetit needs a cheese maker on it's staff? Maybe a cheese series?! Sure he has a lot of experience with other foods/connections for good content as well.
brings me back to when carla and molly made mozzarella in italy, miss the old crew:(
I dont watch these videos to learn anymore, i come for the pure comedic entertainment of brad, his guests and the editing
When Brad tells his weed man he’s shooting a new video
Somewhere, there's a Phish concert Cody is missing, but he's just so happy to be here, he's alright with it... and I can respect that.
This was the pair I didn't know I needed in my life till now
Every video should just be titled "Brad and Chris try to salvage a franchise"
The editingggg on this one goes CRAZY, it’s SO funny and cool!!
This guys needs a spin off or mini Its alive series doing cheeses, good vibes are off the charts
Brads shirt! Mangosteens are truly the food of the gods! you gotta try them if you haven't
Ridiculous! Alphonso mangoes - and only Alphonso - are the food of the gods. Second place is Dasheri mango. Dekopon orange is third. Fourth place, Shine Muscat grape. Then Cherimoya, Bing cherries, Nijisseiki pears, and Mangosteen.
More of these guys together! The vibes are unreal 😁
You guys need to have this Cody guy on more! He’s hilarious! Give him his own show
The energy this gave off made me feel like I was with friends. Awesome video
Yay, Cody’s our new dad! More Cody and Brad! This dude is hilarious.
guys..
this is literally Brad's plug..
this is the weed and mushroom Brad loves... haha
Brad is like a toddler that wants to grab and “help” with everything. It’s great
this is the most exciting episode of its alive that i enjoyed!!
I'm glad Harry has found some hobbies after graduating Hogwarts
this is amazing 😂 underrated comment
These two need their own cheese tour spin off where they visit the best cheese places around the world.
Peak Brad chaos. He really just be out there, vibing with anything or one he crashes into.
Smelling “maple syrup” before watching this episode was the best of my day. I recommend.
Brad's videos are always my favorite to watch. I love the It's Alive series.
the way cody described the stomach acid/rennet process was so gross LOL but that is how my favorite FOOD is made! who knew!!
I've never heard of cheese described as what happens in a calf's stomach lol. Definitely not the most appetizing description
It happens in human baby stomach too, my niece and nephews have put cheese on my clothes after picking them up after they had been breastfed
@@payamabbasi3555 so sick!
@@payamabbasi3555 how do you know it was cheese? Did you eat it?
@@jayjohnsonlive that's disgusting, but FYI the consistency is pretty obvious.
The editing in this is perfection
Cody dunking his hand into near boiling water was so funny, I don’t know why. I love him.
Cody's fuggin awesome. Reminds me of old It's Alive.. just catchin magic between Brad and another witty human inside a camera... and pumpin it out to UA-cam
This whole video has “grow your own herbs” vibes. 🌿
He’s so wholesome… get matty in there for a truly dynamic trio!!!!
More of Brad and Cody please and thank you.
One of the best episodes!

You have issues 😂
I am begging and pleading that you bring cody back; this was excellent!!!
The chemistry between these two could become a “cheese making” show. Imagine ITS CHEESE with Brad and Cody, nice ring to it
Brad is LITERALLY the only reason I'm subscribed to BA. HONEST TRUTH
A day with Cody and Zach Galifianakis would be a scream…. Brad too!
I love Brad. I love Cody. They should have their own show!
Edits in this video was on point! Had a great time watching this! 👍🏼
The energy level shared between these two is godlike
I want the brad "gimme that" as a soundbite so I can have it as my text notification
this guy vibes with brad so good he needs to be a regular feature
Whoever made that firmloaf website is amazing
When they make this into a major motion picture Will Farrell can play Brad and Daniel Radcliffe plays Cody Pottcheese!
More Cody please, thank you! Brad is still amazing!
Cody seems like a cool guy, I can see why he gets along with Brad
I love Cody and i need more cody. NEEDS to be your right hand man forever and always!
The sound effect they put for the cheese guy when he opens his mouth at 9:24 killed me. Everyone should go back and watch if you missed that little gem.
You have some ears, mate.
how did you pick that up?? 😂😂😂😂
Lots of drugs were harmed in the making of this episode.
When Brad adjusts the flame and it sounds like a radio changing stations 😂😂
Love the Norm reference @ 1:45
That van segment has to be one of the best things ever made
I am so here for the happy hippiness that is this episode! ❤️
Cody needs his own show all about cheese asap.
:)))))
"Smells like maple syrup in here!" 🤣🤣
The way Cody seamlessly did that like it was his own show. Love it!
Where did Cody get his shirt?! I love A League of their Own
That Coldplay joke 🤣👍🙌

This is easily one of my favourite It’s Alive episodes
When acidity rides for a long time
I’m for it 👌🏾
Lmaooo these two goons on my screen. Two weirdos in a pod honestly, a perfect match up. The chaos in this video is everything!
the wholesome romance warms my heart. nothing cuter
the editing on these is just immaculate
Nothing like a video of a couple of guys making cheese who think it’s 1966.
One of my favorite you tube food shows
I love that the whole video Cody is just being a sweet precious boy
Love his vibes!!! Bring him back!!
The editing is so chaotic and I love it
Brads reaction to the milk is me every time I have a glass of milk period! Milk is so good & yet too much is not. It’s like an intricate dance and we got heavy metal on full blast baby!!! ANOTHER GLASS PLEASE!
