Wow! Scotland never fails to amaze. What breathtaking views.
Paul Osborne They're never ending Paul!
Total ace video of both places I love in Scotland. I not been to them in ages because of my severe mental health impairment. Cherished childhood memories of being at both Glencoe and Glenfinnan(many relatives there. After watching this awesome video of yours, it has given me the drive and inspiration to see them again.
sometimes little gems of videos just pop up outta nowhere - this is one of them! Delightful to say the least and there's something about how you see things that makes it funner than fun....
Thank you very much. Really glad that you enjoyed it ☺️
Another interesting trip in Scotland. Your cheerfullness must be a tonic to so many.
Brenda Pullen 😂 Thanks Brenda
Scotland. Simply the best place on the planet (and I am English!). Love your enthusiasm Kim, and you really manage to bring things to life. One day I shall pack up and make my move, somewhere near Rannoch Moor I reckon! Love it!
The waterfalls you videoed in Glencoe are a delightful sample of waterfall lover's heaven. Thank you, Kim. And for good measure you added a fully fitted-out piper! It would have been great to hear more of his music. The Glenfinnan viaduct is an enchanting sight in its own right, not needing any help from the H. P. connection. Your enthusiasm is delightful and infectious.
Oh Wow Kim, stunning Glen Coe 😍 There aren't enough words to describe it, really blows me away. Right, that's another for this Brit to add to her list. And yep , I welled up at the bit when I saw & heard the piper- I am that English girl that LOVES Scotland 💕 Oh gosh, my list is getting longer & longer 😜 Fab video Kim and so pleased that you had such a wonderful holiday & had special times without vlogging it! We're just very lucky that you do share some of it with us 😚
Debbie Rooker Thanks yet again Debbie and yes...your list must be huge by now 😂 you'd better get over here sooner rather than later.
Been two or three years since I have been in the Glencoe/Fort William area and I am missing it already. So jealous that you can just grab your car and go, thanks for the trip Kim!
Ashen It sure is a great area! I hope you make it back sometime soon!
Due to your cheerfulness and enthusiasm about Scotland your videos everytime are a joy to watch. I've seen tons of videos about Glencoe and Glenfinnan and it's just beautiful. One day I hope to visit it.
Thank you Marcel and I really hope that you do get to visit it sometime :)
You have become this Englishman's to and must watch, both for the fantastic scenery and down to earth commentary. I only found your channel a couple of days ago and mightily impressed with your friendly approach to photography without fussing too much over the technical details of the gear you use. One thing in this video you mention a channel you have been watching Matthew ? A link would help me find him. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for sharing this video! I enjoyed it very much!
That was an epic video for Tourism Scotland from Glenco and it rocky mountainous landscape to the iconic Scotish piper to Glenfinnan Viaduct and its wonderful views. Thank you, Kim, for all your hard work to produce these great videos for us each week from being practical in the photography to stunning trips around Scotland .
Albert Johnston Thanks yet again Albert. Really glad you're enjoying them ☺
The scenery is beautiful and so are you!
Love the Glencoe ! Great Scottish shots, well done

While listening to her talk about the weather, I was reminded of the Wizard of Oz; " in the misty mist and the dusky dusk."
I love the scottish bagpipe music and the scottish pattern blankets
A wonderful video of some favourite places. Plus some interesting history, your opening image is Blackrock Cottage which was at the heart of Women’s Mountaineering starting in Scotland and it still belongs to a Women’s Mountaineering body. The Viaduct is also part of history, the railway was built under very difficult conditions and the Viaduct is a very early concrete structure and, if memory serves me correctly, it is not steel reinforced which it would be if it’s was being built today. All a wonderful place with some interesting stories and thanks for taking us there.
Ian Buchanan Wow thanks for your knowledge about both locations Ian! I didn't know either of those facts so great of you to share them. ☺
Thank you Kim. Keep on sharing all the beauty around you.
Gisele Smith Your welcome Gisele! Glad you're enjoying the vlogs ☺
As a non Scott I have to say pipes are an acquired taste, that I have yet to acquire :-) Great video yet again. Thank you
Paul Barnard Thanks Paul. I used to hate the bagpipes...still not too keen on a lone piper but listen to a group of pipers and I'm in tears! Very moving.
Excellent video love the tour of your beautiful countryside...amazing. Thank you for bringing us along. Fred in Texas
Gorgeous locations and scenery...🏴
Mark kelly They sure are Mark!
I absolutely adore Glencoe, one of the best places I have visited, Glenfinnan and Loch Shiel are also very beautiful. 😊
mark pursglove They sure are Mark!
lovely upbeat vlog as usual i was waiting for "into the valley" by the skids to play at Glencoe !
Glencoe was my favorite place I went when I visited Scotland a couple years ago. I loved getting to see it again in the video
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account??

Wow awesome the last bit was cute plus the Echoooo.
Stunning! HP is my favourite and I plan on visiting the viaduct this Autumn! I am happy you mentioned Matt! He is a great guy and I just revisited one of his videos where he mentioned you...
Sean Robert Ramuno Hope you have a great time when you go in autumn. I'm sure you'll love it and yes Matt is a great guy!
Amazing country, 👌Thank you! Kim.
Great places Kim, was in Glencoe last month and also stayed in Gairloch for a few days. It is a beautiful part of Scotland, can't wait to get back. Thanks
Alan M. They're very beautiful Alan. Hope you do make it back soon.
You are a dream. I love this video - it actually inspired me to head up to Scotland and experience Glencoe for myself
My favorite place
Glenfinnan is famous for one of the most momentous events in Scottish history - the raising of the Royal Standard at Glenfinnan on 19th August 1745 ( hence the spectacular monument) which led to a civil war in Scotland and the ultimate demise of the clan system.
Thanks for this insight Angus. It's a great monument and lovely location
Top areas to visit, maybe one day for me. Thanks for taking me.
Tom Duncan You're welcome Tom! Fingers crossed you do make it one day ☺
Kim Grant we are in winter. Have a look at my channel to what sort of place Tasmania is like. Bit like Scotland I think.
fantastic video enjoyable n calming loved it throughout … not a potter fan but this was great n well done to you
I was just in this part of Scotland two weeks ago. It is so beautiful. We also rode the Harry Potter train. Very fun.
Amazing! Always wanted to do the train journey :)
I hope you managed to get down to Loch Etive you would love it down there and getting real close to the dear
Beautiful places and scenery, enjoyed seeing it all 👍🏻
Wayne Robertson Photography Thanks Wayne
Great video. Scotland takes some beating you make me want to go and take photographs. I suppose that's what you are trying to do well you've succeeded. Well done keep it up.
Thank you Stephen! Glad the videos inspire you to get out with your camera - enjoy!
Hi Kim. If there's a better location in Scotland, please tell me, as I love Glencoe and surrounding area. I've taken some of my favourite images here and I can't wait to get back next year. I've always resisted the urge to do Glenfinnan Viaduct due to the crowds at train times but, now you've shown how nice the river looks, I may have to have a re-think !! Really enjoyed the video Kim - your enthusiasm is infectious ! Thanks for sharing.
Tim Scanlan Thanks Tim! To me there is plenty of places in Scotland to rival glencoe. You just got to go out and explore and you'll find them in no time. The viaduct is definitely worth a visit but best to avoid at peak summer season...or it will be impossible to park but worth seeing!
Looks like you had some good weather Kim thanks for posting. I know this area really well and it never fails to deliver the views, even on a wet day. I would just like to say though that the first Glen you drove down was the beautiful Glen Etive where you often see Red deer on the roadside and even the road. I hope you visited the loch while you were at Glenfinnan and the Bonnie prince Charlie monument? There is a wonderful woodland walk near the loch with amazing old Scots Pine trees and a view to Ben Nevis . Thanks for sharing your trip with us :DTeddy
Teddy Wanderer Yip - we went down the Glen Etive Road in the hope of seeing the deer but the only ones we saw were far into the fields unfortunately. Is a fun drive though! We were exhausted by the time we got to Glen finnan (and I still had a 2.5hr drive home) so we just did the viaduct walk and no more. Wanted to visit the church but there was a private function on. Never mind - will just have to visit it again to see the woodland etc 😂
Hi Kim it is always good to have a reason to return and with Scotland that happens a lot because time passes so quickly and you never get chance to see everything. I have been visiting for over twenty years now and still manage to see new places things every time I visit thanks again Kim and keep on posting :D Teddy
At 0:28, I got that photo in August 2017 while holidaying from Australia. Amazing country, every corner is a postcard.
fred blue It sure is Fred!
The world famous Glencoe , you are so too right hen .
ืnice place Glencoe...I miss there
I live here
Famous Glencoe ... maybe already too much so. Traffic is terrible ... But such a beautiful place indeed. Btw, the beginning of you video doesn't show Glen Coe, but Glen Etive which is gorgeous end of May, beginning of June, when the Rhododendrons are blooming.
Yep, we drove down there in the hope of seeing the road side deer but unfortunately they were all far into the glen. Beautiful place though :)
Great video but I have to pull you up on your Scottish geography, sorry. When you were telling everyone you were in Glen Coe, you were in Glen Etive. The Buachaille Etive Mor guards the entrance to the glen. You don't get into Glen Coe until 3:25. But in your defence, most people assume the Buachaille is in Glen Coe, even though the name says otherwise :)
Seem to be a common mistake people not knowing where the are when down Etive. Or the new fad is “skyfall” glen 🙄
I always wonder how such things were ever built.
Jeff Nielsen It is fascinating isn't it? One of life's many mysteries. Everything built in times before machinary is always more beautiful and better built too!
Next time audition the piper first..............yeah? I love bagpipes when played well & in tune, it makes me swell up inside with grand emotion to the bursting point. Bag bagpipe playing can make me cry too, because it's painful to listen to....but his outfit was nice.
the campbells are coming
ahhh!! very interesting place and story
The Scotish Tourist Board are missing out on you, they must be asleep..
martin hogarth 😂 lovely comment Martin! Thank you.
Love the vlog. If you head to south America let's collab
What month was the video taken in ?
May 😊
Watch my road trip to see lol
Oh cruel is the snow that sweeps Glencoe
And covers the grave o' Donald
And cruel was the foe that raped Glencoe
And murdered the house o' MacDonald
Wasn't Glencoe the scene for a big massacre, back in the day? I am dredging up memories of history classes from more than 50 years ago, so I could have it wrong. As far as the piper goes, it's nice to see them in full regalia, but I wish they would stop torturing the poor wee animal under their arm!
Phil Buglass 😂 Phil! This made me laugh. And yes...Glencoe was the site of a massive massacre. There's a big visitor centre there that explains all the history.
Too much of wrong sort of music.
In Scotland? You mean the world haah
Would be really great without all the annoying selfies!
