  • A very easy to build scroll saw and another one to use as an accessory for the Portable Workshop. I will use my jig saw as motor, hard plywood and some screws.

    I made your 3D router table. That’s the best idea for a small guitar builder. Carve tops, necks etc. The scene where you are routing a recess looked like a tremolo bridge route, & that reminded me of to leave you a thanks for your brilliant plans!!!! Bravo from 🇺🇸

    The best thing about your project is that you allow room for re-adjustment especially with bolts. You tube has to allow us viewers for more than one thumb up. Thanks for sharing the plans

    Purchased, downloaded, and printed plans Using Acrobat. Taped the pages together. Excellent - Very detailed ! Will be glueing to plywood and cutting out pieces this weekend. I will modify to use a DC 997 motor and custom made blade holders. GO FOR IT!

    This is a old style jig saw not a scroll saw. A jig saw pulls the blade down and the spring on the overhead arm helps to pull the thin blade up when the jig saw is pushing up. It will only cut on the down stroke. A true scroll saw has 2 arms moving the blade that are connected together under tension and when the saw is on a up stroke the arm is pulling the blade up under power where on yours it is a spring. Not to say that it wont do scroll work but a a scroll saw the blade can cut on the up or down stroke and they make blades that cut both direction. A scroll saw is a bit more efficient thats why they stopped making jig saws. people always confuse the 2

    Had to laugh at our language perceptions: When you were installing the "eye bolts" I thought you said "eye balls" - one open and one close. Funny stuff! Another great build video - like all your videos. Good job!

    Do you have a template available for that push stick you're using? It's a little different than the sticks I use now, and I think I like yours better. I don't see them on your website.

    tengo una pregunta. por q no usas pegamento para las uniones. no se casi nada de el trabajo de la madera, pero me llamo la atencion. (why you dont use glue for the joints?)

      @@Paoson_Woodworking Useless info - I need spring specifications wire diameter and coil size as a minimum of specifications Searching in USA for Number 23 extension spring does not get any results, Zero. All the plans say is Number 23 Metal Spring 114mm long. This spring is CRITICAL for proper operation of the saw - ie. downward pressure on arm of 4.5 lbs.. Surely there is an Amazon off--the-shelf spring that works. Can anyone who built the saw help me?

    What size of bearings are you using? 1/2" 0r 5/8"?

    This is great thank you. I want to buy two plans: one the scroll saw plans and the drill press you are using in the video, is that the 3D routher plans? another thing, I followed the link and place some stuff in the shopping cart but the prices are in Euros, any way I can pay you in USD (don't hurt me ! jjj). The bank in Costa Rica will go nuts and charge me a lot of money to convert to Euros with my dollar credit card.
    By the way, I don't mind contributing to subtitles either.
