You just saved me so much time. We were going to start taking the machine apart and on and on. God bless you for helping me with the bobbin bunching thread! Thank you, thank you!
Miss Kiwi, you are a lifesaver!! We've slowly been adjusting and working with the cobbler sewing machine my husband got for Christmas. Your video was exactly to the point and gave us the necessary information to adjust it correctly. We look forward to more videos on all your future projects. Thank you and Merry Christmas from our house to yours!!😊😊😊
My goodness ...I"m dying here! Nice to see you found a use for that scrap plywood. I haven't felt this dizzy since chug-a-lugging a bottle of cheap wine in my teens. Once I got through all that, I can see the advice you are giving is relevant and useful. Thanks! But please shore things up before that machine falls over on your legs!
Thanks! Those machines are workhorses, but can be a bit finicky with the needle and thread size. The timing procedure you showed is Right-on the money!
Hello. Perhaps you can help. I bought the Chinese shoe patch machine in October of 2022. I spent a month watching videos, etc. For some reason I could not get the machine to pick up the bobbin thread. So frustrated I put in the closet for a year. Pulled it out recently, and finally fixed the bobbin thread issue. Once the bobbin pickup worked, then I had an issue of the upper thread breaking. Watched some more videos, and did some intense sanding of all the bobbin parts. That stopped the breaking. Now, the thread is too loose. Before I just immediately tighten the bobbin spring, can you tell what would be causing the bottom thread to be too loose on my finished tests?
My apologies, I posted this video and just forgot about it. I had no idea so many people had even viewed it. Did you get your threads together? I did discuss loose threads in the video.
I finally figured it out. I had the bobbin alignment wrong. So it's now picking up the bobbin thread, but after a few stitches the top thread breaks. I tried adjusting the tension, but it still breaks. Thanks. @@MissKiwiPlace
When undoing the needle crank rod u thing u dont have to unscrew the needle. It should the small connecting piece should just slide out. U can also Use a strong magnet to get the bobin mechanism out
Grazie per le utili informazioni. Saluti dalla Switzerland
