I recently stayed at the Secrets Aura Cozumel Resort on the island of Cozumel. This was a solo trip for me to get in some scuba diving and snorkeling. Enjoy!

@@dolomito Hi there! I arrived there July 12th. It was warm but not bad. Although it was literally a week after being hit by a cat1 hurricane. Here’s my recommend on time of travel. Jan-March is best, with little chance of rain or seaweed/sargassum. Only drawback is water is a little cold but still enjoyable. April-May can get rainy but rarely lasts longer than a few minutes. Not too hot yet. June-Sept expect rain almost everyday. Unless there’s tropical storm rain is usually short. Definitely getting warmer and the ocean is warmer as well. July-Oct definitely hot, stormy. But ocean is amazing. I was scuba diving at 70ft and the water was 82! Let me know if have any questions… and can you do me a favor? So.... Secrets Aura Cozumel, let me give you just a couple thoughts.
Room= mine was a little bit of a letdown. I am just used to a higher quality of room at Secrets resorts... not so much that it was bad, just that it wasn't impressive.
Dining= Typical Secrets dining, excellent! My favs were Bourdeaux's at Aura, El Patio at Sunscape next door, and then The Pizzeria at Dreams Cape Resort. Remember, as a secrets guest, you have access to all 3 resorts.
Beach= WOW! If you are interested, go to one of the water reservation desks and see about booking the 3 reef snorkel. Maybe the best I have ever done.
Extras... Don't miss out on the Sky Bar at sunset, and slip in to the asian restaurant up there for some great sushi!

p.s. one other note, the main negative I ran into at Aura was the constant lack of pool towels at every single pool. By 11 or 12, the towel boxes were empty at literally all 3 pools. So after first day I learned to pick up a few when I saw them in a box to take to my room and have for the next day :)
@@ScrapbookTravels Thanks. I'm here now and yes, pool towels issues so I just use the ones in my room lol. Other than that not too bad for the money. The beach and snorkel and parasailing was amazing!
