Qloud: I'm going to make my base in front of the tunnel to outskirts.
Also Qloud: I think I have to go through pripyat via radar to get to outskirts. I'll have to be careful and not stay in pripyat too long.
Also Qloud: I fought monolith and looted them in pripyat for so long that eidolon himself came to me.

Take the Dead City Mercenary taxi service to Zaton. Go South to Jupiter. Go past the Jupiter Underground complex. To the left of the road in front of the factory (South heading) is the access point to Pripyat.

The mutants getting stuck in places is a very old bug actually. It goes way back in Anomaly, to Call of Chernobyl and possibly before that. I say this because it happens most often (like, almost every time) in levels like Dark Valley, Dead City, and other maps where the quality and stability of the level shows it was obviously never fully finished. One notorious place is in Dark Valley between the Pig Farm and the southern west lake on the small incline. It is a territory point (where mutants can spawn and travel to) and unless disabled for sim, mutants that spawn/load in at that point get stuck in place almost every single time. Another spot is boar getting stuck right at the tree outside the front gate of the lab complex building. Unfortunately as you can imagine with a bug being this old, it is unfixable. Only remedied by essentually disabling the territory point from having mutant or stalker activity. I use warfare so this can differ between modpacks, warfare and not-warfare playthroughs, because it can be remedied through the simulation_object_props file. Of couse its not a big deal of a bug, but figured Id drop this info for those interested.
I think grok is working on solution that would just check mutants positions on the map and if one stays at one place for too long it just teleports it few inches essentially unstucking it.
@@martinlapin4064 I tried a mod when I first started Gamma some 6 months ago, or on my custom Anomaly 1.5.1 build right before I switched to Gamma, but that addon did not work. It sometimes did but in some of those notorious places, it did not at all and also caused some issues. I would guess Grok is going to redo some of the scripting from that mod, or use it as inspiration to write a new one from scratch. It would be super awesome if there would be a working mod to fix this issue though. Its small and stuff but its pretty immersion breaking and just really silly when you see a Boar just running in place indefinitely unless unstuck naturally like from its attack animation triggering and unstucking it suddenly. Its a super wonky bug and ultimately likely stems from the incomplete territory points or the animation jobs attached to them. So fixing the issue at the root would require a lot of time and effort potentially from multiple people, but a simple mutant unstucker script based mod would suffice the same. Only issue I could see is accidentally unstucking mutants that are just chillin sleeping since they too would be sitting still but thats backend stuff to script out. Props to the legend that finally does remedy or fix that issue. It goes *way* back in stalker. lol

There's a shortcut to Outskirts through Jupiter Underground that you'll more than likely have to use in the story, it does however dump you out right next to a stalker camp that may or may not be important to the story so it's worth leaving them be.
If you have a lot of extra bandages you should try to make a bunch of tourniquets . They do full temp limb heals, massive bleed healing, and have no animation, instant use.
Hey, I hope you're doing pretty well. I just wanted to say thanks for the stalker content that you are creating. Some bad things are happening in my life, and those things are making it so difficult to sleep. Watching your videos before bed helps a lot with this situation; sometimes I fall asleep mid-video without overthinking about everything, and sometimes I get jumpscared with chimera sounds, lol. An EFP series would be a good idea, I'm doing a merc run rn

AK-104 Alpha is the absolutely sexiest gun in GAMMA. Use it without suppressor for great sound.

you can kill Eidolon actually before hand, but the amount of Bullets he can take is ridiculous
Man, definitely keep the winter vibe, feel like playing this again only because of it but it feels like too much work, with other games right around the corner! Hope your holidays begin well! Btw, i dont think Expert tools belong in the same tool table as other toolkits, so its just as rare finding them in a white stash as it is from a green (or whatever they are now) stash. Maybe theyve changed it, been a while. Great call on the 5-7! My go-to pistol for its mono-capping-capabilities!
the MP-7 goes into the pistol slot. the 5.7 is a decent round for killing medium armored stalkers it's not really a mutant killer.
this makes it a pretty decent side arm when you already have a mutant killer like the Vector or a Shotgun in one of your main slots. just make sure that your last weapon has some good AP options for Exos and you have yourself a solid setup
P90 can also go into pistol slot
The winter mod is such a vibe, I've been considering installing it and every video you post is convincing me more and more
Amazing episode today! So many gun's that i love 5.7, Vector, Rapter, MP-7, L96, and Remington-700 are all amazing and some of my favorite guns in general! Absolutely killing it with these videos as usual. :D

When your ammo count and minimap dissapeared, they weren't bugged out. You must have hit the ENTER key at some point. That is a keybind to help hide your HUD. If you combine that with the H key, you can hid your entire HUD for screenshots or full immersion.

Every playthrough I go to Army Warehouses for gear. Army Warehouses provide. I gasped when you threw away that expensive ISG silencer on that RD lol. EFT video or Anomaly is fine we'd watch either. What I would really like is a Misery playthrough, I wish they would update that one to 64bit etc. It's still my favourite way to play Stalker, it's not as casual as Anomaly/EFT.
Honestly I prefer the regular Stalker Gamma series than EFP, but I also know you're trying to grow as a channel and stay interesting, so do what feels right to achieve your goals, I'll probably watch it anyways.
Also, people have already said it but going through Jupiter Underground would get you to Outskirts much faster XD.
Also also, I really feel you when you wanna pick up every gun you see, they all just look so shiny!

Just as some advice regarding weapon repair kits, the universal ones are only used to repair weapons main condition, while the specific A, B, C, D cleaning kits are used in crafting, can repair the body of their type of weapons, and also be used with the "Maintain Parts" action when right clicking a weapon. If you are just repairing the main condition of a gun, not the weapon parts inside the gun, then it is way better to just use the universal repair kit as that is its only use in Gamma. The cleaning kits are used to make the big A, B, C, D repair kits, and are better served doing that job than being used to repair some condition on a single gun. Also, the cleaning kits are a far cheaper way of repairing the the parts inside the gun as long as they aren't in too bad condition (Can't be used below 50% condition). Generally, the cheapest way to repair weapons is to either first repair the gun with a universal kit if it is below 30% condition, then use the various general cleaning kits to repair it to full, instead of using the specific A, B, C, D cleaning kits as the general ones are cheaper, and the specific cleaning kits are used in more crafting and are more useful in other tasks.

Eidolon is kill-able, however, from the forums, you can't do the mission to kill him once he is dead. BUT, he is hard to kill, he took 4 or 5 head shots from a dear hunter.
FYI: The H & K shoots 5.7 and goes in the PISTOL slot, just sayin, 40 rounds better than most.
FYI: The Monolith AK - 12 is a 1.0 and can be upgraded further to 2.0 with L&S sites, grenade-launcher, and a laser site.

On my UNISG play through I had the RD-74M modified to fire 5.56 and a RD-74U tactical firing 5.45 in my stash to compensate for when I ran low on 5.56.

soo many similarities in my playthrough compared to yours, I found yadullin in radar exactly where u found some going to pripyat, then I killed a bunch of monolith right where u were in that little underground portion and found an exo with an exohelm. Really upped my gear from what i had previously had, pripyat is the place to get that juice.
doesnt matter if its gamma or efp if you post it ill watch it!
just so you know if you get multiple missions to search the same lab you have to get different notes for each quest giver, i think in your case you need 4 in total, 3 for the merc and 1 for unisg, or its the other way around i havent done this in a while. you could be forced into using the debug menu if you cant find each document in x 8 sometimes they get hidden by all the mutants throwing stuff
can you tell me what is the mod called for all the guns and sights, im trying to get better weapons on it. Also great vids,my favorite so far was the 10th episode i cant believe i watched it fully in one go.

The point for shot barrel KS23 is to fit in the slot (at least in Drozd version) and for close quarter combat - long barrel can cause some difficulty when hiding behind the cover. And most damaging version is Chimera Hunter TOZ - 300+ DMG.

I know im a little late, but when you couldn't see the minimap or the fire mode, press the numpad intro (or enter), idk why but there you can like select the hud mode, from no hud, to that hud or normal hud with minimap and everything.
My bro Qloud be like loot goblin mode activated. 😂 PS not going to lie me too if I still all of that.

I guess you didn't realize there is a shortcut to Outskirts via the Jupiter Underground which you have already cleared. I was lucky enough to find an MP4 Fraser early in my gameplay and it has been wonderful for killing mutants especially when using 3 shot burst mode as that gives you more control than auto. Can you provide a link to that tools % chance table you mentioned as I cannot find one?
At 24:00 you missed that the SMG that monolith had was the fraser, the mp5 in .45 ACP. Arguably one of the best SMGs in the game, you just had an absolute montage of excellent rare gun drops there with the ISG issue guns and then that and the KS23 and so on.
Need to bring some mules next time to help carry the loot!
I would recommend stalker anomaly mostly because of the new map that was added there!

If you are not sure where you are getting shot from throwing a grenade in their general direction usually makes them move
Stalker AI is actually crazy. Sometimes they stand there and just eat bullets while other times they silent ninja sneak up in you from super far away and give you a huge scare….

Use the p90 instead of the pistol, a 50 round burst just like the vector, but with the armor piercing
You can convert the five seven to automatic, it’s basically a mini vector

40:46 The Vector is indeed the best SMG in the game, its a mutant nightmare, but the MP7? I can't agree with that. It's ammo selection sux big. IF it was at least able to be rechamebered in 9x19, it would be much better.
Btw, I don't know if this has changed since my 6+month old gamma install or if your auto-loot does this automatically.. but any guns in stashes have loaded magazines in them which you can take the bullets out of.

check your MCM settings for Soulslike, they updated with new settings so you can keep your equipped items if you die, It might have defaulted to keep all.
Can you list the mods you currently have?
Dog and pseudo dog ar the best for meals, the efects last me usually till the next time I need to eat and allso I can sprint infinitely if not overencubered and dogs are everywhere.

the big patch fetch quests pay out pretty nice. think sid pays you 11k for 12 bandit patches iirc.

You can kill Eidolon without a rail gun but he has alot of health, also like how you still call repair kits by there old names, I personally hate the new alphabet kit names
Edit: around 59 minutes in must have hot the hud hotkey and your mini map toggle hot key idr at the moment what they are but they are in the health systems mod and mini map mod configuration menu to see what key they are.
