Throwback Friday to 2014 - almost 10 years ago - when I visited the NAMES Expo

The NAMES expo is an annual gathering of the North American Model Engineering Society. The little and not so little model engines displayed were amazing. The variety of the models, the craftsmanship of the build and the friendliness of the hosts were great. Not sure (as of 2023) when the expo is going to be held again.

Most of the machinery ran on compressed air - but yeah, the atmosphere was special.

What do you think, will they ever bring back the show to Yack? Did COVID kill off everyone with interest?

I’ve heard from Dick Triemstra that it is all done. But him and a few other people are looking at putting it on somewhere else because it is still popular.
