Personally, I don't have any issues with the art-style. Every DA game has looked different and has had a new look for the character models to get used to. The elves and the Qunari in each DA game have looked different. Overall, I don't think the changes in this are that different from Inquisition. The gameplay and combat remind me of Mass Effect, and I always preferred the combat in Mass Effect to Dragon Age. Dragon Ages was always more about the story for me, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out in Veilguard.
I can understand that. A lot of people have stated that they're into Dragon Age more for the story than the gameplay. I was always in it for both, the majority of games that I like to play are action games, so at the time, Dragon Age would be a nice break from that for me.
Im excited for this. Yes, there are pros & cons to this game, just like anyother. Seems a lot of people like to focus on the cons & be negative. There's always gonna be something about the next game that has people whining. I decide to just focus on the positive.
I can’t wait. Some issues I have with the keep choices and qunari but it’s not huge. Mainly looking forward to the story. Ignore the snowflakes, they said the same about BG3 and look how that turned out, nothing is said about it now 😂
That may be the case regarding pre-orders, but it doesn't change the fact that almost all previews of the game were overwhelmingly positive. Easy Allies, Kinda Funny Games, Luke Stephens, Mr. Matty and many more. I've been on the fence about Veilguard since its reveal, I'm still not a fan of the new art style, but these are outlets and opinions I trust, so I'm letting myself get excited. That being said I still have doubts especially after that horrendous dragon boss fight shown during Sony's State of Play.
@@JustAGamerInc I don't understand how you give a shit about those previews after 2 decades of access journalism. You do understand they signed NDAs and aren't even allowed to mention specific points? It's like you became a gamer after the Star Wars Outlaws debacle. We literally had this situation just weeks ago. the whole industry shilled the game til everyone got their hands on it. now it's a laughing stock. if you trust those 'reviewers' as a content creator, you are just throwing away your own integrity. you can go to the steam forums and look up how the gaming audience is reacting to it on the platform they are buying those games. all reviewers of the world can shill a game. if the gamers are against it, it will flop. reviewers have lost their credibility. not since yesterday. since over a decade 💀
@@Noqtis Yes, I trust these specific outlets and creators because over the years most of their likes and thoughts have mirrored my own. I don't have blind faith in them, I have faith after years watching and agreeing with there opinions. Does that mean I agree with everything they say, no, but more often then not I do. As for the gaming forums, depending where you go they're just as divided on this game as they are for Star Wars Outlaws. There are those that love it, hate it, and others that just don't care because they're just in it for the story and romance (DA specifically).
@@JustAGamerInc I don't think that trust is doing you any favors. Imho it's better for you to stay low and see. Too many warning signs to blindly follow an organized EA marketing campaign. And could you just take a look at the steam forum for DAV yourself? It's kinda lame if someone gives you a info and you respond with assumptions. The people aren't split in half. The steam forum for this game is as one sided as it gets. You have 90% hating and 10% holding against the hate and 9% of those 10% are obvious trolls if you look at their steam library. They don't even have a single lgbtq game and collect clowns awards. You can go now to the steam forum yourself and read thread for thread how dozens of people bash as single defender. Every active thread is like that.
And I leave another observation for you: I was quite active on X when the campaign hit and was discussing this topic with many people. Every time someone disagreed with me I looked up his timeline and most of the time it was full of US politics. Most people defending this game online aren't gamers. DAV signals to a certain crowd of people and those are very active on social media. But they don't buy games at all. Some of them don't know steam has a percentage based ranking system because they never hovered over the ranking
i cant wait for it

So sad. DOA
Flop!
Its a social justice warrior simulator ... big game media doing their best to prop it up and make us believe it will be a top seller.
This game will flop
It's DOA
Why are you even hyped for this trash? Everything about it looks so bad
So How Much Did They Pay You To Lie About This Woke Garbage!
How much they pay u to come here to talk trash?
Overwhelmingly positive? have you been living under a rock? pre-order sales are atrocious. this game will flop hard. Nobody wants this
