Carlux is close to Domme where the fortress held the Knights Templar during their persecution. Full of amazing engravings. Anyway, another beautiful relaxing vlog. Merci beaucoup ♥️♥️
You're right Phil! I have visited Domme as well but not this time. It's gorgeous as well! Just so many wonderful places to visit! I'm so glad you enjoyed it...a presto 🥰🤗😘💖

Bonjour Marisa and David, what a beautiful country France is. The villages were stunning, the architecture for that time period was amazing. What a gorgeous day out in France. Thank you so much for taking us along. l'amour de N.Y.
Thank you for the beautiful Villages I was overcome with emotion and excitement when you visited Montfort ,this is my Grandfathers ancient Ancestors Village.😅 Bertrade of Montfort was her name .🙏❤️🩹🤲
Oh gosh Wendy that’s wonderful! How special for you as that’s a noble name so she was obviously part of a very special family! I’m so glad we went there as it’s spectacular! 🥰♥️🤗🌹🇫🇷

I have never seen Europe in person. Thank you for the tour! I love cabbage roses!! David Austin roses are like that! ❣️ At time stamp apx 11:58 down and to the right in your photo there is an archway and I was saying ( and you couldn't hear 😜), "turn right, turn right!" 😂 I wanted to get a better look at it!! OK, the only thing you can't fit in your suitcase is the very old and very big wisteria! I think you should try harder!! I wonder how old it is? Oh wow, I love La Roque Gageac! So cool! I want to go inside the cave places!!
Oh Rhondal it’s so lovely to hear your thoughts as we wander about! I’m sorry I didn’t hear you yell out to me about the archway! Yes I love David Austin roses too and used to have them in my own French garden but they seemed to have died since I left. Maybe the new owners weren’t gardeners like me. I’m so happy that you’re enjoying our travels … sending big hugs! 🤗🥰🫶🏼🙏🏼♥️

Hi there. We stumbled across your channel this week. Like you we're from Australia and retired to northern Italy just over 2 years ago. We also spend lots of time in France including the Dordogne which is looking very green during your visit. There's so many lovely villages and gardens in the area to visit. We look forward to watching your posts. (PS have you checked our Darlene from Dordogne's You Tube Channel... Another Australian couple who have moved to the area) BW. Maria e Rowan
Hello Rowan! Thank you so much for joining us! Unfortunately we aren’t yet retired but live half:half for now! We purchased our Italian home in 2022 but I lived in France for 10 years many years ago, hence our trip this year to revisit my village and family/friends! It’s a wonderful area ♥️ we are friends with Darlene and Shaun and next week’s vlog has a visit with them at their beautiful home, so stay tuned! We just got back from northern Italy on our way home but unfortunately I had a fairly major accident on Lake Garda so am currently healing ❤️🩹 at home and making lots of videos 😁😂 So lovely to have you join us and thank you for the lovely message! Alla prossima ♥️🥰🫶🏼
@@talesfromtuscany Thx for reply to us. We're so sorry to hear about your accident. We were over at Lake Garda last week and the roads can certainly be challenging. We hope you recover fully and quickly. It's a small world, we look forward to watching next week's vlog. BW, Maria e Rowan
