Netherlands not qualifying is going to become a text book reason for why there is a Jury and a Televote
I was expecting them to be în top 10 în final but guees what?! THEY DIDN T EVEN QUALIFY. What is wrong with you people?! CROATIA OVER THIS?!
My heart pinched after the qualifiers announcement, this song will regardless have a special spot in my heart. It felt very intimate and moving!

I feel so bad for them, all that pressure from the Dutch people, your complaints should be for Duncan Laurence and the broadcaster, not Mia and Dion, who did their best...

Next year Davina Michelle to the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of the Netherlands. At least we have a chance to win.
Duncan screwed it up
This is my favourite song in this year's contest and tonight I was really glad to see that the staging and their performance were very good as well. It definitely deserved a spot in the final (more than some other songs that qualified, but it was democracy lol) and I'm disappointed that they didn't get enough votes. But I hope Mia and Dion are proud of what they've done on that stage because their song is amazing and they sang it well. Their team must be proud too because it was beautiful to watch, especially with the prism effects on the screens in the background. The Netherlands is my favourite country at Eurovision at the moment, S10's song was also my favourite last year.
There's something haunting about this performance, in a good way. I think it's a combination of the camerawork and the staging. I remember this immediately caught my attention when I first saw the live. The vocals are a little unpolished but overall the performance is really solid and it feels cinematic in a way. I like that it paints a story in my mind.
There’s always a song that I fall in love with after the contest is over that originally went under my radar
this to me was the MOST UNDERRATED song in the whole contest this year. I thought this song would be a sure qualifier, beautiful lyrics, powerful message, gorgeous instrumental, the vocals weren’t impressive but they were better than some other acts in the semi final.
The calm that was needed. Congratulations the Netherlands. Such a peaceful and heartwarming performance ❤️

Literally can’t believe this didn’t qualify 😢 from when I saw them in Amsterdam, this performance is unbelievable and worked so hard to get where they are. Gutted love from uk 🇬🇧
Love the ending with 'Goodbye old life'. Dion Cooper: "The song is an ode to trial and error. It's about recognizing that we're just human beings who try their best and that it's okay to make mistakes. It's about picking up after that, choosing something better and moving on."
As always, The netherlands brings to Eurovision some really underrated and beautifuls gems!❤
