Temevo che sarebbero finiti alla Spagna (che con tutto rispetto nonostante la grande coreografia, la canzone di per se, è il solito tormentone latino da 2 o 3 mesi di fama) ma per fortuna abbiamo dimostrato di avere ancora buon gusto e sensibilità. Una canzone che nonostante venga cantata in una lingua non conosciuta, ed è comunque in grado di trasmettere forti emozioni e un paio di lacrime, credo la dica lunga sulla forza della persona che la canta. @@fadinaim695 Yeap it was my winner of the year! Crazy how it didn't even make it to the top10. Unfortunately the staging was a bit underwhelming. Too pale. The song is truly amazing, her vocal performance and stage presence (including the perfect styling) was spot on but the stage director should have come up with something more. It was a decent presentation but decent is not enough for EuroVISION. This song needed a more extraordinary concept in its staging to outshine its competitors. Ukraine would always win but this lovely piece of art could have at least hit top3.

As a German who lived in the Netherlands and learned Dutch and learned to appreciate and love the language I am so happy to see the Netherlands finally submitting a Dutch song. I know English seems to become more and more important in cities like Amsterdam or Utrecht because people come there, not caring for the locals or the language. So seeing the song in Dutch for an international audience was amazing. Het beste liedje van de Eurovisie. Groetjes uit Berlijn❤️🤍💙

Dutch is a really underrated language for songs. I don't think this would've had the same fragility and sincerity in english.
many people seem to think dutch sounds too “harsh” and they don’t like it but i have been learning it for over a year and it really is a beautiful language. de diepte is a great song and it really hit home for me and i’m sure all the emotions i felt when she performed, i’d have definitely felt even if i didn’t understand the lyrics.

That's something we all have in common and I hope you will feel less alone when you listen to this song." She struggled with suicidal thoughts, the voices in her head and her past in psychiatry. The song is a love letter to her former self, she told. In the documentary 'S10: Storm om mij heen' you can see some of it. S10 - 'Adem Je In' is another beautiful song of her. (Please check the last part where it's almost acoustic that hits you in the feels)

Hear her battle between real emotion and reality. She almost breaks at the end. This is pure emotion . Not every Eurovision in this year will be as close as this. I’m proud of S10, of being Dutch. We have never tried to walk the easiest way to sing the heartfelt words in English. This song is the best of all. Only the Italians gave her douze points. It’s a shame S10 ended outside the top 10 !

A Spanish girl here who LOVES this song. It gives me goosebumps. It should have been top 5. She is not pretentious, she is pure honest and that makes her special. Despite the fact that her performance was after my country's entry, I connected with her emotion.

@@nloesoe I was happy to vote for her and so glad that she decided to sing in her native language, it proves that Germanic languages are equally suited to songwriting and can sound marvelous and not harsh at all (which I feel is a common misconception). And I think it's powerful and brave that she decided to open up about her mental health struggles in front of so many people and write about them. Every language is ok in Eurovision...and everybody was singing along with the Oeeeh and aaaaa. People here are alway's so negative about our eurovision entry every year.
It was the same here in Italy, everyone kept criticising Mahmood's and Blanco's song and rendition too, I think people always find something to complain about and don't realise how stressful it is to perform live. And this song was robbed, it deserved a much higher ranking in my opinion. The ooeehh and aaa part is amazing! I sang along the entire time without knowing the words haha, well done Netherlands 🎉

For me the most authentic performance of the night. Didn‘t seen or have heard about her before but I‘m so glad I found her. The way she stands there, sings in another language with so much pain and hope in her voice, with a big real smile on her lips.. just she pure as she is and her song together with the crowd! This is what really touched me, I believed her any single word and that‘s what music should be for me! 12 points to the netherlands ❤️
