    I bought a set about 2 weeks ago from Amazon. The Sq is what I expect from a set of 75 dollar buds. But very comfortable and good battery life. They don't have noise canceling, but they help immensely when I'm running my very loud old dump truck or akid steer.

    Very interesting. I've always been tempted to try em but have always noticed that when channels advertise 'em they seem to follow a script provided by the manufacturer. (I might be wrong, but sounds like it) To me, that's a bit of a turn off due to the fact that it seems forced by the company and not a genuine review. I've been happy with what I have so I haven't been compelled enough to try something these. Thanks for the info!

    I have been using Raycons since they first came out and have had no problems whatsoever with them. They do have a pair with noise cancellation, just not on the basic Everyday ones (and they only cost a bit more). I retired from doing landscaping work and used them extensively while mowing and running string trimmers and even without noise cancellation technology I found them to be tremendously helpful in reducing loud noises. I didn’t know sponsored reviews of them was even going on, I don’t pay much attention to sponsored reviews. I just know that I prefer my Raycons to any other wireless earbuds I have ever used. The sound quality is superior in my opinion.

    I love my raycons. I had one of them get muffled and they replaced them under warranty. They just sent me a new ones. Mine do a decent job of noise canceling. Just had to figure out the best fit.

    First run raycons were super bougie and amazing. Since the brand took off and manufacturing moved to the same place that makes the Jlab earbuds they've dipped in quality immensely, and you're still paying 300% more for the same product as a 40 dollar pair.

    I use a $40 pair of ONN from Walmart. They work just fine and have all the features I need. Including noise cancellation. Been using them for at least a year w/o any problem.

    Shokz are amazing. Nothing goes in your ear unless you put in earplugs to help drown out the noise(they come with earplugs, or did when I bought mine).
    I was really became impressed after the first time I mowed. Put in the ear plugs and would have thought I had a big pair of headphones one. Will never go to another type of earplugs.

    I use a Bluetooth wireless brand called Shokz. They are bone induction headphones. I have enjoyed them for a couple of years. I dislike sticking ear buds in my ears.

    I like tozo brand. Cheaper than most, pretty good sound cancellation some. Transparent mode is ok but not great. Many different styles to choose from. Sound reproduction is as good as best in ear and JBL in ear.

    I haven't had any issues with my raycons. I have had pairs go through the laundry and still work. I've never paid full price either.

    I have to disagree with you on noise canceling as I mow my 2 acre yard and they provide great sound suppression. Much better than others I’ve tried. Also on airplanes too. Also I find the fit in my ears is much better than others. 😮

    • @BigTruckBigRV
      @BigTruckBigRV  5 місяців тому +5

      Agree on the fit. They do fit very well, BUT they only suppress noise because of that fit. They offer no active noice cancelling and if you've tried earbuds with NC, you'd hear the difference.

    Loved my first pair years ago, but when it was time to replace them (due to a decrease in charge time), I've been extremely disappointed in the product. Ist replacement pair, the left ear only stayed charged for like 15 minutes. The 2nd replacement pair was a different model, and I couldn't get them to stay in my ears. My current replacement pair are "ok," but for the price you pay, I definitely wouldn't recommend them. The quality has definitely gone down.

    I do see an ad for some $200 ones for use at the gun range.

    I’ve been using Ray on earbuds for years. The ones you purchased are the base model. Maybe if you tried a different model you would get the options you were looking for, maybe not. For what I am using them for they suit me just fine.

      The higher models have NC but they are more than twice the price as the others I showed that have NC.

    I think i’m coming up on a year of having my raycons or maybe it’s already been a year. Honestly $80.00 wasn’t too bad of a price point for them. The main reason why I got them was for the awareness mode and it’s definitely a very great feature especially when you have headphones in for hours on end. The sound quality is pretty good however after almost or about a hear the right ear bud driver does seem to be dying. It’s significantly quieter than the left. For $80 i was hoping they’d last a bit longer considering my last pair of wireless ear buds were half the price and lasted me almost 2 years. Only reason i didnt buy those again was because they didnt have any audio features and they had the rubber piece that goes around your ear to hold them in which didn’t really do what it was supposed to. Maybe i just pushed my ray cons harder than my last pair haha. I’m considering on spending a bit more money on wireless earbuds to see if there is much of difference between them. Overall Raycons are definitely a good middle ground for ear buds

      I had a pair of Raycon's that did the same thing. I had them more then a year so I was out of warranty. They were good till that point. Customer service said that I could adjust the levels playing them through a computer. I tried that and wasn't happy with the results. I moved on to a pair of JBLs.

    I ordered a pair of the Raycon's and was sadly disappointed with the quality vs the hype. (ended up returning them to Amazon)

    I don’t understand…You turned down an offer to get paid while also being provided with a free set to do an honest review? And then purchased your own set to not get paid and do an honest review? And you did this all on a channel geared towards RV and Truck reviews?

    • @brianallen4784
      @brianallen4784 5 місяців тому +8

      Getting paid to do a review is not the same as doing an honest review. The company paying you expects you to do a good review even if it ducks. They don't want you to be honest. They want you to help sell the product.

    I go through headphones like crazy. These got to be the worst headphones I've ever had. I spent 100 plus dollars for some cheap product. First, it started with the right ear bud. The volume started fading out after the second week. I'd stick with Bose or Sony headphones if you really want some good quality headphones

    Honestly as a truck review channel this is more of an opinion piece, when posting a review its good to have specs, data, some analysis other than i wore them please. This provides very little insight other than you bought a set of headphones and had an opinion and called it a review.

      That can't be right... No mass market consumer electronics is made in America. Yes there are some wired headphones (Grado, made in new York). But there's too much circuitry in there for it to be even remotely true
