There has been studies and it's something like 85% of people think they are better at driving than the average driver. Meaning about 70% of bad drivers (the bottom half) think they are good drivers. A lot of people over estimate their driving skills.
I dont think speeding makes you bad at driving. I think if you asked every driver on the road, most of them would say they are better than most drivers
well thats how it is.
It all matters when you need to take decisions at the last seconds, in less than a seconds everything can change! I think a good driver is when you have a good reaction speed
I think people can be better and worse than average in different ways. You could be like these guys are really skilled at physically steering the car, but then really shit at road rules or maintaining and understanding the vehicle.
I know so many drivers and they're all so different in how they can and can't drive in various ways. One guy likes going fast and playing with his car and he understands a lot about how they actually work, yet he's crashed, burnt out his tires, and got his insurance doubled all in the past year. I know someone else who wouldn't be able to do anything except refuel and wind the windows down and yet they have a spotless, incident free record of over 40 years of driving.
@@samwoodley1653as a person who litteraly did all that i’ve crashed drifted my tires bald asf and my insurance is cooked now every good driver has to go through that. i’ve always wanted to be a legit race car driver like gt3 but i’m broke asf and those pro drivers in gt3 and f1 probably went through all that aswell and millions would consider those drivers extremely good drivers if not the best actually. but i do agree with you how it’s different situations on what is good driving.

On NYE in NYC a crazy driver tried to evade police by driving on the sidewalk. My friend had exited MSG after attending a concert and was enjoying some late night snacks and was struck by the car.
Her vacation was extended, by a stay in the hospital. She sustained injuries. She missed weeks of work at her dream job she had just relocated for.
These drivers are absolutely selfish, brain dead, and are extremely immature. They deserve to never drive again, and to serve some time in jail.

Not to make any excuses for their behavior. Because of the high real estate and land value, and the noise levels produced by a race track there are no tracks in New York, whereas historically New York had tracks and drag strips. IMO they should open up a track...
that is the whole reason that there is so much street racing in big cities, race tracks get shut down so people move to the streets. tho these guy are moveing to tracks and off the streets even tho they are far away it is better for the longevity of the brand and safety
rly.slo tried to get a Race track, but it didnt work out. They hosted a meet at 1 track that was basically falling off, and they tried to revive it again, but then it got Forcefully destroyed cause of noise complaints by people living close to the drag strip.

I don't know if this is the same everywhere else, but I live in rural Australia, meaning country roads where you can do stupid things at high speeds with cars involved. Everyone knows someone who has been impacted by car accidents. A girl I went to school with wrapped her car around a tree with three of her friends in the car, a few died and she's crippled for life. Everyone has multiple stories like this, because everyone is young and dumb at some point, at when your at the peak of thinking you're invincible is when you get your license.
It takes those 2-4 extra years before you're a real adult and understand that not only are you putting yourself and your friends at risk by doing dumb stuff, but other people who have nothing to do with you and your stupidity as well. Some people never understand that because no one tells them and they think its cool and fun right up until it goes wrong and people's lives are forever changed or ended.
