Hindi pa ganoong kalaki o karami ang production facilities ng GMA at that time (‘yung dalawang maliit na studio sa EDSA plus sa Broadway lang) compared to ABS (which had just gotten its entire broadcast complex back pag-alis ng PTV). Plus it was probably more cost-effective for them at that time na bumili ng foreign shows kaysa mag-produce ng mas maraming local shows completely in-house (iilan lang ang network-produced entertainment shows nila that time).

Example: Nung nawala si Kuya Germs, nawala na rin yung Walang Tulugan. Nung nawala si Ate Ludz, nawala yung de-kalibreng mga public service programs niya. Nung lumipat si Wilma Galvante, nawala rin yung quality programs. Sayang kasi walang na-maintain.
Considering na nagyayabang yung ABS-CBN at that time regarding their new found international reach to North America through TFC hence they got away with it in showing the color inverted clip of GMA's '94 SID. Too bad ABS-CBN lost its hold on TAPE (Eat Bulaga, Valiente), M-Zet (Okay Ka, Fairy Ko), Mel Tiangco and Jay Sonza to GMA as the year unfolds, so its quite a karma for them.

FYI, lumipat ang Eat Bulaga! sa GMA noong January 28, 1995 dahil umalis na sa ABS-CBN after almost 6 years kaya na-expired na yung kontrata nila kasunod ang Valiente noong January 30 at Okay Ka, Fairy Ko! noong February 2 (two of these shows continue until they both ended in 1997).
In the meantime, papasok din pala si Karen Davila from 1994 hanggang sa siya'y umalis sa GMA in 2000 and in 1995 the following year, she is Mike Enriquez's co-host of Decision '95: Operason Bantay Boto during election hanggang sa sila'y naging 2 anchors ng Saksi after 5 months since it premiered on October 2.
Noong 1995 din, lumipat si Mel Tiangco sa GMA mismo at nagiging co-anchor siya ng Saksi alongside Enriquez and Davila. Nagsimula yung Partners Mel & Jay noong May 5, 1996 matapos siyang lumipat sa parehong network so this was a result of the 1995 Tide commercial which had led to her exile from ABS-CBN together with fellow journalist Jay Sonza (although he remained hosting in Tapatan). The show was supposed to premiere on the same day of that year, however it initially caused controversy after ABS-CBN filed an complaint to block the show's premiere telecast, which was subsequently granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 101. ABS-CBN argued that Tiangco and Sonza still has a contract with the network which was supposed to expire on April 30, 1997, which prohibits them to appear in other television or radio stations without prior written approval of the network.

Yes, maganda ang palabas sa GMA 7 noon pero kada may nawawalang artista o broadcaster, ramdam ng tao yung "end of an era".
Example: Nung nawala si Kuya Germs, nawala na rin yung Walang Tulugan. Nung nawala si Ate Ludz, nawala yung de-kalibreng mga public service programs niya. Nung lumipat si Wilma Galvante, nawala rin yung quality programs.

Considering na nagyayabang yung ABS-CBN at that time regarding their new found international reach to North America through TFC hence they got away with it in showing the color inverted clip of GMA's '94 SID.
Too bad ABS-CBN lost its hold on TAPE (Eat Bulaga, Valiente), M-Zet (Okay Ka, Fairy Ko), Mel Tiangco and Jay Sonza to GMA as the year unfolds, so its quite a karma for them.
