I play on a 720p 2012 shit TV and I can still see everything. I think that it comes with time played and experience. Your brain kinda is more tuned to recognizing shapes

Kincaid Englesby i can catch glimpses but as i said i mainly watch on my phone 1080 p i play on xbox on a 40 inch but my highest br is 8.7 leopard a1a1 so i have experience just not near as mych as phly boy
With the Conway its all about having that First Stage Ammo ready.

Phly, did you noticed when you took a dink and survived at 8:24, the round appears to skip off the top of the gun mantlet, right off the frame that goes around the gun mount to secure its canvas dust cover (to stop the turret trunnion mounts from ingesting crap) as it clearly snaps and bends upwards. Seem's you quite correct, no armour is indeed the best armour as if it's like the Centurion's frame you have been saved by a piece of 6mm (1/4") thick mild steel!
You know you're playing British tanks in Warthunder when you're a glass cannon with a gun takes 3 shots to kill anything more often than not with a 17 second reload.

Conway actually has some very thick armor on the turret face, I believe it used to have 280mm ish with a huge gun shield plate.

Btw the Conway actually has very good turret armour on must of the turret. It can stop a long 88, it looks like it not very thick but it is overlapped with two thick platss

No camping allowed (and not sure it would help)
If you have fun during it, i can guarantee you are not doing it right

Tip for Phly: when using your binos to move your gun, get into the habit of using the button for your machine guns instead of main gun, so that you don't accidentally shoot off your cannon. It works on all tanks.

if your asking if they tested dazzle camo for heat or what ever, it worked by making it difficult for ww1 U-boats to determine direction, bearing, speed and distance of an enemy vessel and therefore encourage taking up a poor firing position. it was pretty much dropped of ww1 though due to advancements in aiming and after research showed no real marked survival rates on ships with it vs ships without. and also it was expensive to keep up on paint costs

Take 3 or more friends and take out Type 75 SPH, find a long range sniping spot, and then proceed to do artillery stuff, sending a 155mm HE into general enemy direction every 2-2,5 sec.
