This man was related to Prince Phillip so expecting some of British royal family it was good to see Princess Anne in Greece ,I thought more of the royal family attending
Prince William, Princess Catherine, Princess Alexandra and The Duke of Kent were all in Athens, but there non attendance in public is something to do with the attitude of the advisors to our Royal Family, that they are superior to all the other European Royals , and cannot therefore attend any event where other European Royals, who are below them in rank, will b present. Yet again it shows that our Royals are puppets on strings, controlled by Advisors and Lawyewrs, and have to do as they are told. The Danish,Norwegian and Netherland and Belgian Royals are like King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine highly educated . Our Royals need to be released from their Royal Chains and be more actively involved in activities they believe in, like Prince Frederik and Princess Mary, Queen Mathilde and Queen Maxima who are all involved in activities which involve them workinging with the World Health Organisation , UNESCO , Post Fossil Fuel generation, Relief if World Poverty etc. Instead our Royals are reduced to doing nonpolitical charity work , cutting ribbons and opening buildings ( Princess Beatrice words ) The role of our Monarchy needs to be re-evaluated. Prince HArry's book brings out just how much our Royals are in chains, kept in place by the views of their antiquated advisors. Only Princess Anne and her father dare/dared to be their real selves in public.. Keep up the good work Princess anne. Also God bless Crown Prince Pavlos. The Greeks clearly need and want him as their King.
While this clip is focussed very much on Princess Anne and Lady Gabriella, I want to point out that the tall man who greeted the Princess and Sir Timothy so warmly on the steps was Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, . Also present was King Carl Gustav of Sweden, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapeli-Mozzi

God Bless The Royal Family
Anne looks so sad. I am sure she is thinking of her parents. I respect her greatly.
R.I.P. King Konstantine II 🇬🇷🥇🇬🇷
Royalty is supporting people with dignity and respect, and this is exactly what most of the Royal Fam does. Long may real Royalty survive.
Look closely, it was NOT King Felipe of Spain.
No, the man that greeted them is Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece and is the first cousin of King Felipe of Spain, therefore the resemblance.
You need a pair of glasses 🤣
@@rachelgreen4510 Thank you for that correction! They are very much alike! I have corrected my post.
@@ET-fk8ty Oh, your comment is so so so funny! Definitely worth rolling around laughing!
Yes, I do need glasses, and YOU seriously need a brain!
Long Live the King!🇬🇷
English Translation - Historical Fact: Constantine II was an able sportsman. In 1958, King Paul gave his son a Lightning class sailing boat for Christmas. Subsequently, Crown Prince Constantine spent most of his free time training with the boat on the Saronic Gulf. After a few months, the Greek Navy gave the prince a Dragon class sailing boat, with which he decided to participate in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. At the opening of the Games in Rome, he was the flag bearer for the Greek team. He won an Olympic gold medal in Sailing (Dragon class), which was the first Greek gold medal in sailing since the Stockholm 1912 Summer Olympics. Constantine was the helmsman of the boat "Nireus" and the other members of the team were Odysseus Eskitzoglou and Georgios Zaimis.
Princess Anne, the quiet royal, step forward, you now represent the dignity, honor, steadfastness and integrity the your mother graced the world with. ❤
I felt sad, for, princes Anne she looked sad, memories of her recent mothers funeral. A hug for you lady ❤️🩹
Rest in Peace King Constantine II. I'm at the age now where funerals of my friends and peers are more numerous than the weddings. Princess Anne is a very strong woman and is the epitome of service above self. God Bless her and the rest of the royals that attended.
I am so saddened by this... I last spoke to him 6 years ago and he was awaiting a visit. I was really hoping to see him before he died. My condolences to the family, lot's of love to you all HRH Catherine Wyatt. I had a close attachment to the Greek Royals. He will be missed greatly.
Princess Anne. True princess ❤
