We havnt had any uploads for, ages I can only imagine. The old fishes and other sea creatures need to come phunk out in the great ice berg that is candian jam lovers igloo!
My jaw was floor-wise for the entirety of set-break following this spectacle. This alone validated the fact that I drove five hours in and five hours out immediately prior to and after the show, respectively, just to witness this and everything else this heater of a night had to offer.
Sounds like every Blossom show that I've caught on a work night 😂. That drive home back to Cincinnati is rough, pulling up at my front door just in time to shower and go clock in
Best night of the run (musically, obviously 4/22 was magical). Excellent Wolfmans, Esther, and this wild Ghost…followed by a massive Chalkdust>Tweezer which found some of the most beautiful blissful jamming we’ve heard in a Tweezer in some time. Add 2001>Maze, mango song, and hood?? Classic performance. Thank you Phish.
Don’t give a shit what happened UA-cam algorithm finally got me to a UA-cam video happened to Siri chats happened thank God got me off of whatever shit I was on is it as bad
There's a couple videos of Just Chris working the light board and he's getting down just like everyone else that's dancing😂 he has so much joy and excitement while working
The Tweezer in this show is so freaking good but so was the Esther>Ghost what a nice treat for a set closer they never close set 1 w Ghost what a treat
Listened to the show on Sirius at work....... WTF? This show will go down in history. Again, I say I didn't find Phish, Phish found me. Thanks to all the fans that support the amazing four.
This was a stellar run by Phish at MSG. When a Ghost like this is just the tip of the iceberg, you know you're in for a mess of treats. The Esther that preceded this song was just as immaculate as well. Oh man what a night!
4/21 was the banger of this run. Don't get me wrong the 4/22 was amazing and first night was a great opener to the run. (4/23 I had chompers everywhere in my section)
If they wanted to make a statement it would have started 4/20. Attn to details like that can change a show and your life 🙂 I have a feeling trey tried and it wasn't available tho. 👍
I feel I've never told you the story of the ghost that I once knew and talked to of whom I'd never boast But this was my big secret how I get ahead and never have to worry I'd call him instead His answer came in actions He never spoke a word Or maybe I lay down the phone before he could be heard I somehow feel forsaken Like he had closed the door I guess I just stopped needing him as much as once before But maybe he's still with me the latch was left unhooked He's waiting in the wind and rain I simply haven't looked
Would have liked to have heard Trey hit some of those machine gun licks at the end. He just kept doing the octave bend which is cool but some trills at the end ala dicks light would have brought it up a notch even more. Oh well can’t win em all.
I knew that they had a game plan going into this and I will say onething The Band was so tight they were all in such harmony. From first cord of 4/20-23! That’s it ALSO THE WELKER WILL BE THE GRAIL BEST PHISH PRINT EVER!
I almost thought this was SITMS now Santos is going to get confused w Ghost because of the starting bass line like Maze and David Bowie get confused from almost exactly similar Fishman Percussion line The Line I dont even like the song but it seems relevant right about now sometimes you need to explain something w math and a clean straight line to heaven There are many roads to choose and you can be the Road less traveled by Poet lore-at great Robert Frost or you can just make a song called Frost and say fuck ya Frost here is 7 Below and Its Ice eat that cold Tweezer freezer
Night 2 was night one Lets forget about Nerves on first nights Torn and Frayed never buy a ticket to first show of tour shows except rare exceptions like 6-7-2012 all first shows on tour suck or at least are never the best of that tour except maybe 2012
@@TDBear-bs6zl Dead were part of the scene in the late 60s. Jefferson, big brother, Dead ect....Not sure where this cover garage college band from Vermont appeared from...a college garage!? 👍
Never got why people liked Phish.. I guess it's not about the music as it's about the festivals? Like Grateful Dead, no one goes there for the music, the music sucks. They go there for the drugs so I'm guessing the same with Phish because on a music level, it's bland and just not good what so ever no matter your taste in music. As a kid growing up in the 90's, other kids would talk about Phish and 311, so I got a CD album of each and listened wondering why people like this? It's not even good compared to the music of the age ie Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains and so on. Then again I never got why people like Blink 182.. Generic garbage imo.
You seem driven by hate? What inspires you? Try and imagine playing over a hundred songs many times a year for 30 years. Additionally, never play the same one exactly like you did this last time you played it or exactly like you've ever played it and all while keeping thousand of fans on the edge of their seats every time. now close your eyes, think about what I said, tap your foot to the beat and open up your Shaka, inhale some indica and thank me later.
I mean you don’t have to like them, that’s the cool thing about music…I’m just not exactly sure how you can call on the spot improvisational music generic either, creating something completely unique on the fly is the complete opposite of that. I think you’d find that most people do go to phish for the music, and if you do some research on UA-cam of professional musicians breaking down Phish, you’d find that every member is widely regarded as being virtuosos on their respective instruments. Nothing wrong with disliking the music, I dislike a lot of music, the difference is I don’t go out of my way to bash that music on their UA-cam pages. Maybe you need a hobby.
There are thousands of bands out there. You're not gonna like most of them. And it's a waste of energy to try to find out why other people like those other bands that you don't like.
The energy in the Garden was soaring during this jam. Unbelievable.
We havnt had any uploads for, ages I can only imagine. The old fishes and other sea creatures need to come phunk out in the great ice berg that is candian jam lovers igloo!
totally, my friend dave was there and specifically made me watch this video because of the energy
Unreal. All of it.
Cant wait to feel the energy level @ Jones beach Nikon theater this summer!!! Going both days! Cant wait!

Phish just doesn’t miss! How they keep getting better & better is the 8th wonder of the world
agreed! every time i think “they can’t possibly get better”…. boom!
Totally in line on this summer One
Progressive and jam-conscience
Reticent to a Moog Page does so much by minimizing
phish absolutely does miss sometimes. are you crazy? that doesn't mean they arent great.

I know what the band looks like lol

I agree, phish really found me also
Last 3-4 minutes is top notch, face melting Phish
They own this song. Everytime better and better these days. Shows they can jam like 90's sometimes
"They Own this song....."..... √Yup... quite Literally... 👻

That was killer.
The boys in the band, live audio engineers, camera crew, director(s?), and crowd make these a helluva lot of fun. Thank you!
Seriously miraculous, there's nothing like it in the Universe.
13:14 wicked
This is where they nail the ending in classic fashion...biggest nail down of the year for sure.
The Trey silhouette at 2:47 when the lights kill is dope
When Mike leads it darker, good things happen
Wonderful jam with the big finish. Loved it.
14:00 love the camera angle and movement emphasizing the drama of the music
I agree, it struck me too.
Yes
Producer gets that nod!
MIKE IS LOUD NOW. MIKE. IS. LOUD. NOW.
Thanks for the share! ✨🌞✨
A standout jam from a standout night that shifts like a specter to different places, tones, and spaces.
I thoroughly enjoyed this
Thank you for sharing!
Sharing is caring, friend told me 😊
STILL the best band EVER!
Right.

the end of this jam back into ghost really gets cooking
I needed this.
Is like a Toyota, you asked for it you got it 😎
The second set fire I was glad to be there
9:05 Mike's feelin' it
sharin in the groove
one bad ass Ghost jam!! Lake Wateree SC was here
I'm only here because somebody said demons had written this song and now I'm wondering why demons are so musically talented.
Love this band
When you lock a phish in its cave for 2 years of Covid and drop it back in the phish tank in front of a live audience, this happens

But this was my big secret
how I get ahead
and never have to worry
I'd call him instead

Or maybe I lay down the phone
