Crim not being #1 is criminal, scumps only ring came with 2 players that now have 3 rings, and crim has more overall titles, crim also didn’t get to be the face of optic choosing the best teammates every year to keep winning multiple titles
Well it's not like crim never had any say on who he teamed with. Imagine turning down the most successful, clutch, and consistent player. Look at every team with crim on it and you'll see what I mean

@@joey--j true but it’s not like they were plumbers. I feel esports is the only “sport” where winning makes you a better player more than the eye test. If that was the case, GOATs of other sport would not be the likes of Messi, Jordan and Gretzky.
@@alanhynd4397 I think in all sport you have to win to be in the conversation. Messi is the goat because he's very talented and has won the most. Is he the best or most talented ever maybe, but R9, was probably the most individually talented player. Scump may be the 'best ever from a pure skill aspect, but Greatest goes to more accomplished and whilst Scump is up there, I find it hard to argue over Crim and Karma as they have 3 rings and were members of the best teams ever. They were also the best players in an individual game so I don't think the skill/talent gap between scump karma and crim was as big as people think its just scump was a better slayer, but crim and Karma are more versatile. But either way it is subjective. This is a fun debate 👍

With that said tho they were 1 point apart in my formula so as close as can be to tied. Pretty much the same for Scump > crim, longevity and individual talent pushed Scump ahead and he was also only 1 point above so another near tie. If you disagree with someone that’s only one spot ahead then I feel like it shows the numbers are pretty accurate, but of course can never be perfect hence why my personal list would be dif than this one!
With the excpetion of one less x games gold medal, Crim is objectively above scump in every single way in less time. It's a solid list but Crim is the undisputed goat. Imo Karma is a locked 2nd also.

Yeah totally depends on your criteria! He’s just outside the T30 for me (and in this video) but many have him, especially if you consider impact on the esport

I honestly have Crimsix, Scump, Clayster, Karma, and Formal as the top 5. i really do love all these players, but i think karma is a little glazed. His prime out of these 5 players (BO2 or Ghosts) is the weakest of the 5 players by quite a bit. i think crim is the undisputed goat of cod. He has the best mind for the game and played virtually every role from main slaying to picking up the obj.

Yeah this list needs to be changed. Call of duty from BO3 thru BO4 was amazing minus Cold war. It really peaked with viewership crowd size and everything else during IW. The games since really BO4 have been garbage. Back in the day the talent pool was larger any legit amateur team could win an event. A literal team of buddies could qualify and play in the play in bracket. When they stopped doing that events went to shit as did viewership. There was a way larger talent pool to pick from. Sales of the games will tell that. Never ever had to wait for a lobby then like you do today. I’m an older fan and by older I mean well over 50. I’ve always regretted not going to any cod champs especially IW champs. The jet pack era was way better than this crap today with the clunky movement. People loved the specialists and their weapons and abilities. The game was way faster and more exciting and enjoyable. The casting of events was 10x better.
