INGREDIENTS:
Cube Steak
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Celery Salt (optional)
Flour
Vegetable oil for frying
FOR GRAVY:
4 tbs of the oil you fried your cube steak in
3 tbs of flour
Half an onion, sliced
32oz carton of beef broth
2 tbs of browning
2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
RECIPE NOTES:
You can season your cube steak with whatever seasonings you like. Be sure to season them well. Well seasoned steak makes for a super flavorful gravy.
Dredge in flour. Fry on medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side. Then set aside on a paper towel or wire rack to drain while you make the gravy.
On medium heat, sauté sliced onions in 4 tbs of the oil you fried your cube steak in. When onions begin to soften, add in flour and whisk vigorously to keep flour from burning.
When flour becomes foamy, begin to slowly whisk in beef broth. Whisk constantly until flour clumps dissolve and gravy begins to simmer.
Add in browning, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Whisk.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add in steak. Flip them around a few times to make sure they are nicely coated in gravy. Allow the dish to simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Mam the pan was not hot enough. When you put the greese in it must be very! Hot pour the flour in and add cream before the flour gets to burnt. Timing must be perfect
