I did this with the stock mufflers on my '06 and it actually sounds perfect. I searched for a long time for the right sound with no drone, and settled on these with the stockers. Won't go back!
I put this on a month ago and the sound is great with pypes bomp axcleback exhaust but does someone tell me how to get rid of the engine check light its been coming on and off
My 1998 3.8l is bone stock. Will I be able to swap out my old cats with these and just run the two instead of the stock 4? Also, whats size pipe will I need for these cats? Thanks!
I have a 2001 Mustang Bullitt with BBK short headers and BBK Off Road X-Pipe. I would like to know if the Pypes high flow cats will fit in my setup and if I need to do any pipe cutting?
They will help but if I were you I'd find some bullet style resonators to throw in instead- they will help tone down the sound without impairing flow. -Justin

Will these reduce the drone I get from having an off road mid pipe and muffler deletes?

@@americanmuscle yea I think that's gonna be my best bet. It'll probably be pypes mid muffler system. Those mid mounted m80s are great
Same question as Sergio: will these pass smog in CA?
I know these are included on the Pypes True Dual system.
Same question, please set me know if you got an answer
The pypes high flow cats for 11-14 GT, I shouldn't have any CEL or any problems with them clogging up if I tune the car as well right?
i wonder if california has a law agaisnt loud exhaust noises
Could dis work on my Crown Vic?
Sure could! -Zach
California legal?
i saw a mean fox body that had great exhaust sound which was loud as shit in less than 2 mins he got flagged down by a cop
I want them, but it looks like you gotta cut the stock ones
Well no shit
Obviously
Yes
California emission laws suck
they clamp together
California legal
Absolutely zero advice on how to install these as they claim. Ridiculous waste of time.
Can I run 2 step with these?
