I remember the first time I saw GT HD Concept, I was 10 and the Playstation 3 was completely new on a demo stand. I fall in love with it, I didn't know that it was Gran Turismo until I realize it on the menu interface. On 2006 it was truly realistic and beautiful, and was the true first time Ferrari was on GT. I always wanted it but my parents never bought me the PS3 so it was just an impossible dream to me.
Many things look better in GT5 and GT6 but shadows quality... ugh... that was HUGE downgrade compared to the GT5: Prologue. Even GT Sport had bad low resolution shadows (but softened). Finally GT7 again has them looking again.
I hate the fact that GTHD camera was ok same as GT3, but they keept pushing the stiff and far camera on GT4, 5 and 6 ! It is the works camera why did they do that , they already did it ok since the first GT
Eiger Nordwand in Gran Turismo 7 maybe great but its still a bit behind even Gran Turismo 6 version of Eiger Nordwand. GT5 and 6 Eiger Nordwand still have tunnels whilst on GT7, the tunnel is the new pit lane instead...

It's similar to GT 2000 as it serves as a bridge between past generation to the succeeding one, based on the former's existing foundations. The original project was meant to be a complete rebuild of GT4 and Tourist Trophy in HD with new 3D tracks and premium models for every car and motorcycle.
@@brocktj4 Aw man my bad bro! haha I swear I didnt remember this GT, but It was probably because Ps3 was the only generation I skipped because if Im not mistaken, Forza was making some noise around then, and I went ahead and bought an Xbox 360 to try it out. Youre not old, just experienced! lol
GT5P to GT5 transition was perfect

GT5 Prologue in terms of graphics looks like it came from PlayStation 5 due to how advanced that game was.

Yes and no. The resolution is a lot better, but the detail in 5 and 6 on things like grass/lighting/shadows is a lot softer and more natural
