i think a lot of the "what even killed them" moments were cause by bulks slams doing friendly fire. two or more would slam sometimes and that would take a huge chunk of health from nearby bulks
MIght be late to the party but dread spawning is actually a blessing in disguise here, since there will be no other bugs will spawn as long as the dread is alive definitely a huge time window to build pipe since the deto's spawn timer is so fast xD anyway good job on finishing the challenge RnS
you can do an instant bulk deletion combo with breach cutter build for fire (spinning death or trail) and a driller build for temp shock. We could trigger like 5 or 6 tempshocks in like 10 s
@@aarepelaa1142 stun doesn't take fire's place, but the dmg is low (20 fire dmg per sec)(but maybe it creates different stacks of trail stacking dmg, idk not tested)

This is bonkers. It really takes Ghost Ship Games at their word when they say "fully destructible terrain". Plus, no dwarf left behind with 2 seconds left on the clock. Insane! What haz was this set at?
small tip for anyone that wants to go for this hellish challenge (for whatever reason): scout's stun sweeper actually works on bulks, albeit for a shorter duration, but the ability to even briefly stop a bulk in its tracks is invaluable (fun fact: this works because the stun sweeper also applies a 100% slowdown debuff in addition to the 8 second stun, just for half the duration, so even if something is resistant or completely immune to stuns, like bulks, the sweeper still has an effect!) also, not sure if this was an accident or not, but the transition at 9:08 was SO smooth, had to rewind a couple times bc i thought i just blinked and missed something!
This is DRG in its purest form; Absolute unadulterated chaos permeated with adrenaline, explosions, and scenarios that only a drunken tweaker can think up. Personally, I wouldn't even try this on Haz 1, let alone the haz 3 or 4 you seem to be playing on given the bulk's health. I salute you, Rock and Stone!

I definitely agree with other comments that the right breach cutter build would MELT those things. It wouldn't have high ammo count but if you got every bulk clumped it would be like one shot to set them all off
That was pretty awesome, from beginning right up to the end. Watching this i think i would have gone 2/3/3/2 on turret. So one single turret with 40m range, manual targeting, 135 rounds and extra fast reload, put it on the refinery and designate injured bulks.

I feel like using stubby with the overclock where you shoot your turrets for the electric explosion could be really strong. The turret doesn’t need ammo so you wouldn’t to worry about reloading with good pathing you could probably milk a lot of damage out of it given how much ammo stubby can have
Congrats! I'm a little surprised you didn't end up having issues with crashing out, as that gets to be a real concern the longer an OAB mission goes on for.
The PGL jumpcuts are really clean. At one of them I thought you flew like 50m up in the air lol, I had to check the footage frame by frame to see how that even happened xD
1000 hour Greybeard here - awesome comms, truly amazing video, not sure I would have made it out for there alive as a gunner, although from the damage, it would appear you were at about haz 3, so many of your slight misplays getting close to bulks, especially at the end, were far more forgiving than I was expecting them to be. I winced every time you got so close to one, and especially when you went back to res. No dwarf left behind does have its limits XD. As you sort of worked out later, the bulks were damaging each other, but not just from their firestrike slams like another commenter said but also through their digging towards you in a big group. A little bit of a sidenote, as someone else has mentioned as well, the presence of a Dread stops all other swarm spawns (including incoming metors!), so if you had done youre best to leave him alive, you would have gotten a bulk free mission. Easier said than done though. Regardless, top tier content bois! Rock and Stone!
Here's a few ideas that could be useful, Have Gunner use a flame build hurricane, volatile bullets revolver, and flame nades. Engi with Magnet pellet alignment and turret whip, and maybe bring lures. RJ250 is a good choice. Bring a scout with a full mobility build, Hover clock, special powder, quick recharge grappling, hook, ruining field medic . The scout can bait the bulks, revive teammates, get nitra, very useful. A driller could be useful, possibly, drilling long curving tunnels to funnel bulks into like with how you might get a Crassus into a wall, then blow it up. Also a sticky flame temp shock build could be useful. Also do it on a critical weakness modifier and have tunnel rat, rocky mountain, or the extra health bear Im forgetting it's name. Also do it while drunk lol.
Seeing the damage, effectiveness, and ammo capacity- both mag, and pool of the smart rifle makes me feel very happy i just skipped it entirely for a max smg (Depending on your mods) You get 60/660 and its full auto and not a charge burst

I think part of the reason the refinery was picked was for the pipelines as ground since they’re invincible
