*OG FF7 SPOILERS!* . . . . . . . . . . . I also thought that the doctor shown in the trailer could be the doctor in Mideel (where you visit as a party to locate Cloud while he's in his catatonic state, before he and Tifa fall into the Lifestream). However, the captions for the trailer show that he is billed as Dr. Sheiran, who is revealed to be a doctor in Mt. Corel (according to "A Tale of Two Pasts" novel), and is the one who operated on Tifa after the Nibelheim incident.
This is actually pretty interesting observation. Having it be a scene from Mt. Corel is totally possible too. Especially since things will be different this time around
With Sephiroth seeming to manipulate Cloud against Tifa again this brought up a thought I'd never had before, mention how Tifa's outfit should show a scar from when she was stabbed adding credence of this being a fake Tifa because "he killed her"
I epected Vincent would be in if there was no announcement he was being shelved. Optional party members aren't really a thing anymore unless they're DLC
Nomura released a statement yesterday stating again this is a good entry point and that you can play rebirth before playing remake. If it is going to be different then I can see why. Also said we won’t be getting wutai and that will be in part 3 so there could be other areas like that as well. Posssibly rocket town (I hope not) but we won’t know until we see more leading up to the release
@@TheoBeantjb Before? Interesting. Well, the fact that Zack is there could suggest a kind of back in time prequel, who knows. I am not against changing plots, but I do hope they don't make it as confusing as XIII-2.

There is quite a lot that is happening in this trailer for sure. It makes me wonder in how far it will not work intimidating for new players.

The greatest thing I fear is when Zack and the main group reunite, I can't imagine that written any way thats not cringeworthy.
