- One of my favourite local car shows because I get to enter this one! It's a car show that focuses on Japan's cars of limited dimensions and capacity, the Kei car, and it's now in its third year. At the start of the video, I focus on the older 360cc class of car (1949 - 1975), then wonder about taking in heaps of 550cc (1976 - 1990) and 660cc (1991 - 2014) cars.

Always liked the Mazda Auto Zam 1 ( 8:01 - 8:08 ) in Gran Turismo. I'm over 6' so doubtful i'd fit into any Kei cars IRL.

Love the Honda Today @7:00 very unique with the square headlights, tied up with the Gino on AC Courreges. Very unique cars overall😊

I definitely like the Cappuccinos but that pearl white on the Honda Beat was striking AF.
I'm sadly back home now, but I ended up being pretty satisfied with what I got to see - specifically that Gloria I mentioned was the coolest, but you can't go wrong seeing a Midnight Purple R34 GTR cruising around Akihabara either.

Man those kei cars took off in Hawai'i in the last 4 years my brother got one years ago seems like it's the new golf cart to have a micro van or kei truck

Oh man very cool car's too see. I can't even say what would be my favorite but I would probably go with the air cooled Subaru. Sadly I missed the premier but will check the video again tonight with my son on the big screen. Have a nice weekend Daniel.

Sorry for getting to your comment so late. I highly doubt you'll be legally able to buy any car here. Before you can purchase a car, the police much come to your house/apartment and confirm you have a registered/valid parking space. However, if you have some workaround, i.e. an importer to buy it on your behalf, than a Suzuki Wagon R is as good a choice as any
@@wasabicars I will actually be living in Japan for the foreseeable future and my apartment has a parking spot included so Im ay okay in that sense. Thank you for the advice 👍🏻

Yes, yearly, but it's been held in April twice and October once in the last three years. So, not entirely sure of the timing
I've always been such a fan of those Altos, I wish we got kei cars in other parts of the world but I know they wouldn't survive on American roads unfortunately
Definitely not on our highways but these are perfectly fun cars for back roads and around town. We're starting to see more and more folks like myself importing and collecting them like matchbox cars lol

Wish you would spend abit more time looking around the cars, It feels like you're just rushing through now and aren't really interested. Even the cars you say are really special.. you don't spend much time looking around them it seems.
I totally hear what you're saying. At the same time, of the thousand or two people who watched the video, each would have a slightly different views on what would have made this video better. What you didn't know is that I arrived at this show late, had an intense argument with another youtuber/entrant and wanted to go home... but I shot a video anyway. I'm human, man.
