Very emotional. It's a very difficult situation in the middle east. In addition to praying for the seeds you planted to bear fruit, I am also praying for those remaining hostages to be returned safely. If I'm being honest, I find it very hard to pray for the terrorist. I guess that is another area in my life I need to work on.

I noticed that gal you visited didn't really answer when asked if they had enough food. That look was one of hunger, yet not admitting it, being humble. I was planning to go to Israel to volunteer in November, and that has been pushed back now. Thank you for going to pray and to offer some food to those in need there. I suspect that there are many more families who are short of food, even in the cities, as work has been disrupted. People who are generally farming and taking care of everyday parts of society are off fighting for the country to protect the rest of the people, so those things that aren't done, such as farming, teaching at school, driving busses, and many other jobs and services, are not getting done. When schools are closed, teachers cannot teach, and they do not get paid, which affects their families as well. War is incredibly destructive to society. Praying that they find peace over there very soon.

Wow! This was pretty cool! I struggle with sharing the gospel and understanding that I can still love people. For some reason my way of showing love is to be silent and trying to speak with love isn't that easy for me. I pray that God uses me as he made me.
Loving people with practical actions IS giving the Gospel to people. That is what Jesus taught His disciples, and what His disciples taught the lost sheep in the diaspora and their neighbors in the nations, and what His modern day disciples should be doing. We have no right to hit someone with the Bible without seeing to their immediate needs. I bless the Name of the Lord for these men!

The term “Christian “ is ambiguous because it can simply mean someone is not Muslim or Jewish.. so they say they are Christian but live a secular life. I noticed that gal you visited didn't really answer when asked if they had enough food. That look was one of hunger, yet not admitting it, being humble.
I was planning to go to Israel to volunteer in November, and that has been pushed back now.
Thank you for going to pray and to offer some food to those in need there.
I suspect that there are many more families who are short of food, even in the cities, as work has been disrupted.
People who are generally farming and taking care of everyday parts of society are off fighting for the country to protect the rest of the people, so those things that aren't done, such as farming, teaching at school, driving busses, and many other jobs and services, are not getting done.
When schools are closed, teachers cannot teach, and they do not get paid, which affects their families as well.
War is incredibly destructive to society.
Praying that they find peace over there very soon.
