This advertising is saying that if you are a woman then it doesn't actually matter how seriously you take gaming because the only value a woman has is how pretty she looks. It is a terrible message. You would not do this with women's football. It only shows how little sky respects gamers and women.
1. Women can play in any ESports category. E-Sports are not actual physical sports so the idea of gender difference in physicality doesn’t apply. Unless you mean to say that women aren’t as smart/tactical/fast-thinking as men etc… 2. Why are all these women just standing around looking glam rather than actually playing a game or talking about their relationships with gaming and E-Sports. 3. WHAT GAME?! Is it just Esports in general?! Will they be doing 5 mins of Dota, 5 mins of Smash, 5 mins of Fifa… This is all just so weird and obviously just made up to attract straight male viewers rather than actually pushing a dialogue about why women are excluded in gaming communities/why gaming communities in general aren’t encouraged in the UK. Obv all the players here are just players and good luck to them but the whole vibe is off on this from Sky
The women in this seem completely random. I saw some racing pedals, so it might be a racing game tournament (F1 game, Iracing, Assetto Corsa). Or maybe they play a bunch of different games in different rounds?
I want to know who from Sky had to buy a hundred pairs of grey joggers for this advert. They're the unsung hero. I don't normally watch esports, but i'll watch this! Good luck to you all.
Why does the game have to change instead of being simulated? What does this have to do with gaming? Where are the computers? Where are the flick headshots? This seems like a fashion PR stunt to make people feel better, but feelings aren't real life.
I don't think people see you and go "oh you can play" the same would be for males if you took a video of them all standing around looking like models... when they advertise esports for males they show the players as themselves not models... this seems like it's trying to fail already... imagine a esport adverts for the male finals and it was all male models, it'll make no sense... there are already many girl players but you aren't showing them... the only reason there are more males is more males compete and now they are going to make female influence fail more with this?... it's probably to make a argument that people hate females or something
Esports finals? What Esport, what game, finals of what tournament?
98% of the women in this video are music artists, and podcasters. I wish they shed light on the women who are active playing in tournaments.
Are they conventionally attractive enough tho
Most of these women arent even pros on any game so if your trying to show good female eSports why would you not get good women to play ?

its probably meant to just tick a box for being inclusive ,so there is no real purpose 😂😂😂
No one who has any abilities as a ‘gamer’ throws their arms and controller around like that while playing. This is laughable.

What a ridiculous ad.
Men: We honestly don't care if ya'll play video games or not. Stop trying to prove something. We don't care.
