This was a very good workout. I'd love to see more and more of Leslye's classes, prefer advanced. She is great! Hard but gentle at the same time. Great instructor 👏
I've been doing pilates for over 20 years now and currently have a very strict and excellent teacher. All Lesley's pilates workouts are so good and her instructions are really clear. They are challenging yet safe. Bloody brilliant. Think this one is my favourite so far though I've yet to manage to keep my hips raised throughout all the reverse plank leg lifts. Challenge is on!
Who is your teacher? I’ve been practicing for a while( not 20 years!) Probably around 10 years? And I feel that Lesleys classes on this channel have taken my practice to the next level…however…I would like to experience the NEXT level. Is that possible for a mat Pilates class? I don’t have a reformer but have done retreats with them and love it. But mat Pilates is what I do pretty much every day…and I’m a surfer and was a dancer and gymnast when I was younger. I have so many questions about this wonderful style of workout. I guess my main question is where to go from here? I can complete most of these classes fully without much struggle and I’m getting stronger….if you have any advice about or know of an instructor who can take me further please share your wisdom! @@juliakoltzoff6870 Hi Julia. I go to a Pilates instructor where I live in Yorkshire so maybe to far for you to travel!😁. Sorry. I would say that she doesn’t do anything more challenging than Lesley’s videos but she is very concerned we do the exercises correctly using the core muscles etc and sometimes, just breaking down the simplest of moves and focusing on form can be very challenging. Anyway Julia good luck with your search, hope you find what you need.
She is amazing, i just saw this advanced video with her ( must have missed it ) and really happy to workout with her now. Lesley is such an amazing instructor. Awesome workout and great instructor! Just one tip for healthy, happy joints for years to come: please put a micro-bend in your elbows when in plank. You are super flexible, so it is easy to lock out in those joints, but it is going to put wear and tear on them and create issues in the future. Putting a micro-bend in them will place the emphasis on your muscles, which is what you want and which is what will keep you healthy.
Most excellent workout and so very well instructed. Quite funny to have push ups as part of a cool down but whole session is creative and challenging. Great job! Thank you so much.

Very nice workout. I have a question regarding the last exercise: I kept my leg up but could do the push-up to the mat.is it ok or should I better put the knee down and then get to the mat in the push-up ? Thanks 🙏❤️
