Wow thats crazy how its all combined into 1 program/controller setup.. I remember back when PCDJ Red came out and that blew me away. This is on another level!

DMX isn't actually built in, if you want to do that part there's a $350 separate box you need to buy that isn't mentioned here

Sandeep Kumar have you tried it, and if so did you like it?

I hope American DJ & Chauvet are paying attention to this. The light DMX’ing should be simplified and in sync with the music. I also wonder if this can work in conjunction with my ADJ Airstream Bridge?

Look at Pioneer stepping up their game. Gotta keep up with Denon and Sound Switch. This is the kind of lighting controls we need--not too simple, but not too complex either. Nice job.

This is damn impressive!! All in one versatile, however a bit for some mobile guys, but very nice. I am liking that Lyric Software subscription that was introduced. I hope Serato comes out with something additional that can be used on the SR2, SX2 or SX3, etc. Very nice video! Thanks for the update B. Redd!

Brian, what about new to the industry DJ's who want to control the lights but want to stay in a budget, will users of the DDJ-400 (or any other RB controller) have the same option of adding an RB-DMX1 and using features such as lyric?

Omg....Brian thank you for putting this up. I bought the Ddj 1000 and the RB DMX512 with it. Even as easy as it is..i still have no clue as tohow to Really use it...even like the programming the buttons on the controller to do the diffrent things...it almost has me agitated that I bought it...i have searched you tube for help and I can't find anything that really helps me.
Do you have any advice to help

Hi and thanks for the video, does the DDJ 1000 support video? I see that on this video it shows video/ lyrics on the rekordbox software. I just bought a ddj 1000 and am using rekordbox full license peformance and added the Video 30 day trial plugin but do not see it activated. Do you know if video is supported for Ddj 1000 controller. Thank you

looks great in practise but as Dj in live set do you want to over load your CPU even more with rekordbox, audio processing, midi and now dmx processing signals, leave that for lighting team, we all know with controllers midi and dj applications, you want low CPU for audio , so this could increase cpu load somewhere in the app you don't want audio drop outs so I can't see club DJs doing this, maybe wedding Dj but even then I'm not sure you could trust it

I’d been considering trying Rekordbox DJ with my DDJ-SX2. Now I just need a free day...

I use Rekordbox with my DDJ-SX2 and it works great and i prefer it more than i prefer Serato

Where's the DMX connector? Would an addition USB interface be necessary?

Very similar to SoundSwitch. But SoundSwitch uses Serato
