I can go back and fix it later, and the short time to write makes it seem like not so much of a commitment that I can't get started. Maybe that would help you. Good luck. I now present to you my true story still currently happening, The NutCracker.
Last time we were in Arkansas, in which the place we are in right now for spring break, my grandpa gave me a NutCracker. I didn’t really think that much of it at first, he was a good looking NutCracker, he had a white beard, brown or black eyes, maroon colored clothing along with a maroon sword with gems placed on it, and on its back was a maroon lever that you bring up and down to open and close it’s mouth. He was on a gold
stand built on him, so he can stand. I put him in my room when we got home, and continued with my day. Soon, it was 11:00, my bed time. I went to sleep, or at least I tried. I couldn’t shake this un-nerving feeling that someone or something was watching me. I had my NutCracker placed on my night stand that had my grandma’s angel, my dead cats ashes, a lamp, and a few other things. All of those were facing me. I turned my NutCracker to face the bedroom door. I still couldn’t sleep. I looked over at it and saw that it had been turned back toward me. I had my cat in my room with me so, I didn’t think there would be any demons because, demons are supposed to be afraid of cats...right? I grabbed it and took it over to my drawers. And this time, I faced it towards my mirror. I was now able to sleep. Later, the next night, my cat Selena started groaning at the door, and putting her nose up to the door cracks. She never does that. “Selena, tchtchtchtch, come here! Come here kitty!” I was calling to my cat Selena. Her grey tabby striped fur was standing up wards, she was about to hiss at the door. I grabbed her, and brought her to my bed with me as I lay down, beginning to pet her. I looked at the NutCracker. Something wasn’t right. I had that weird feeling that you get when you’re alone somewhere at night and it’s way too quiet. This was even worse. I looked at the mirror and I could have sworn I saw a figure of a face beginning to appear despite there being smudges. My heart began to race, it felt like my heart was touching my skin about to rip itself out of my chest. I sat up in my bed, got up on the floor, and the feeling had vanished. In the morning, I put it in the loft on the table next to the couch. A year later I put it back in my room. The feeling never left when I put it back in. And it got really bad, to where I have trouble breathing if I ever try taking it out. I only hope this will one day end.
