hello firstly nice video secondly the red symbolizes the blood of soldiers so much blood was shed in a war that the front was filled with blood at midnight the moon and stars shone on the blood

Great video with accurate information! I am however dissapointed in the fact that Atatürk, father of all turks isn't even mentioned in this video. While he is the #1 reason Türkiye exist today.

I‘m sorry what did you said? I‘m a turk and Ataturk is definitely NOT the „father“ of the Turks. He is just the founder of the modern secular turkish state. The name Ataturk was even not his real name, an armenian man gave him the name later. He is maybe not even turkish! He is from Thessaloniki, where a lot of so called „Dönme“ were living at this time. Dönme‘s are people from jewish descend, who were acting and living like muslims. They came from Spain, also called sephardic jews.

this %99 islam thing is according to assigned religion at birth by parents or government. there are a lot of atheist in turkey especially last 20 years.
It’s probably 90-95% of the population identifying as Muslim but how much of them are actually practicing
