You prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any help you can give me.
Thank you so much for your tips! I’ve been creating physical items to sell for years and just recently realized that other makers may want to use my designs to make their own creations… especially now that so many people have cutting machines & lasers & whatnot. Your videos have been super helpful!
Thank You! I happened to come across one of your videos right off the bat when looking into this. You're not sickeningly over enthusiastic (Super Refreshing, so tired of everyone acting like billy mays) You are informative, obviously well versed, you get to the point & you don't bullshit! Which is fantastic. Also I found it surprising that you considered motion sickness when scrolling through. I actually suffer with motion sickness something fierce, so that was greatly appreciated. I have subscribed and look forward to learning from you. I also speak like a sailor LOL, so I thought it was hilarious when you slipped up at the end.
So glad you found value! I try to be as transparent as possible. I'm not a fan of the SUPER EXCITED let me sell you some stuff mentality. If there is anything specific you need help with or are looking for let me know and I can get some content up for you. Thanks for the support!!
Great video! When I started working in the printing business in the early 90ies the average copyright lawsuit in the US would cost you $1,000,000 for 1 infringement. You are so right when you said this is nothing to mess around with.
Thank you! A lot of people don't consider this and I hate for ANYONE to be in hot water. People think oh it's okay because everyone else is doing it But It's not! Appreciate your comment!
Thanks for the down to earth informative video. I have been using my silhouette to make wood signs for 10 years. Most of them are my own designs and I have always been interested in selling them. I just need a push. 😂
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything! Very Grateful for your knowledge and honest information!! I look forward to watching your next video!
Thank you so much! Tons of good info up already. More videos coming in this week and feel free to let me know if there is anything you need and I'll be sure to add it to my video creation list.

There are so so many factors that go into this. Depends on what you're trying to create and the end goal. I have some good courses out there but again so many variables. If you're not in the FB group yet I recommend hopping on there.
Love this and read through most of the comments and replies below, but still have a question. Sorry if I missed it. Is there a way to get a design that was created in Cricut design space into Inkscape to create the design as an svg in order to sell it? Thanks!!
I have a video I'm editing tomorrow that talks exactly about this. If you hit the notification bell in conjunction with being a subscriber you will get notified when that is posted. I'll also add it here when I'm done
No that's copyright infringement you need to create your own graphics and images Commercial use means you can take the digital file and make physical products to sell Not sell them digitally
Thank you so much, I’m learning a heap from you. You mentioned a mock-up for your designs and a place to use, could you tell me what that is please. I can’t find the link. ❤️🇦🇺
When it comes to the bundles, are they usually just single items you sell that are bundled up together or are they items that are unique to that bundle? Just curious!
Hi...thanks for the video :) Why I stopped by and listened to your video is because we are looking for more ways to market and sell SVG files. We have tried Etsy ads and Facebook ads and both have failed completely. It's not like we tried advertising on both platforms once with a single product but many attempts over a long time period with many different items (and SVGs). Do you have any suggestions where to market SVGs that will work?
Omg I hate when their named 1 2 3 4 5 and I can never find anything! I spent 2 hrs yesterday looking for some damn butterfly cuz the folder was svgbut and they were numbers😭
First I want to thank you so much for your videos. I do not have a Silhouette machine and have downloaded the basic software. I create cut files in Inkscape. I create svgs and test files for Cricut (which I have). I then realize I couldn't upload svgs in Silhouette. Ugh! So I exported out of Inkscape to a dxf file and opened it in Silhouette Studio, but when it came in, it came in with one of the parts (shapes) clear up in the top of the page, with the rest coming in on the lower edge. Do you have any idea why this would happen?
That's super weird. If you email me I can check the svg to dxf conversion. Shootingstarsvg@gmail Com Honestly if the svg works in CDS it will work in studio dxf is a whole other beast
@@ShootingStarSVG Thank you so much for the feedback. I sure appreciate it. Maybe I shouldn't offer dxf then. I'm not sure if the demand would be there anyway. Thanks again.☺️
I love your videos But I sell at a low price in the last month, I sold 1284 with AVG per order $1.78 I do this Because my shop is new about six months ago! In the future, I will raise prices, but now I focus on adding new designs on a daily basis, We must always be patient
And that's ok! There's not a secret formula to being successful on Etsy just some tips. I think your strategy is sound and wish you all of the success as you perfect your craft
Is there something I missed that you're still wondering about? Let me know below!!
What about fonts? I am having trouble figuring out which ones to use and not get sued lol!
I noticed when I do an Etsy search for an SVG file, the list is only 8 pages long, and I can't search for more. Has something changed?
You prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account??

Hey and no worries. You cannot export SVGs from design space. You have to create outside of the CDS program
You can go to settings, remove grid, use snip tool to screenshot the design, save. Then remove the background in Canva or whatever program you use.
What was the site you recommended using for trademark/copyright infringement?
USPTO website using TESS
@@ShootingStarSVG thank you!
Do you have a video or a file on what size to save all the different file types as to save on etsy? .dxf, .esp .png etc.
I don't at this time. It depends on what you are selling but I will make a video on file types shortly for everyone so stay tuned for that
What category do you put SVG or PNG thousand on Etsy digital or what?
I use cutting files for SVGs
Great Video. Looking forward to learning from you!
Welcome aboard! Let me know if you need anything else!!
Can you export SVGs from Cricut Design Space? If so, how?
You cannot export SVGs from CDS sadly
I just bought corporate license for a design on design bundles, can you help with explaining my limitations, what I can and cannot do with it?
What about using fonts, copyrights with them, etc.?
Hello, and thanks for the confidence. Would all these rule apply for photos as well ?
I try to keep my tips and tricks pretty universal for digital downloads so I would say yes!
Great video...thank you for all the info...
Glad it was helpful! Let me know if you are looking for anything else!
Does anyone know what category to use when listing these types of SVG files on Etsy?
I use clip art generally

How do you create commercial license for your SVGs I'm wanting to protect my designs but offer commercial use
I have a video I'm editing tomorrow that talks exactly about this. If you hit the notification bell in conjunction with being a subscriber you will get notified when that is posted. I'll also add it here when I'm done
Hi there
If I buy bundles with a commercial license is it ok to seperate them into individual Svg and sell them on my website
No that's copyright infringement you need to create your own graphics and images
Commercial use means you can take the digital file and make physical products to sell
Not sell them digitally
@@ShootingStarSVG hi there so if I make a physical decal to sell that will be ok
Thank you so much, I’m learning a heap from you. You mentioned a mock-up for your designs and a place to use, could you tell me what that is please. I can’t find the link. ❤️🇦🇺
Check out the best mockup generator link in the description it will take you to PlaceIt×
Sorry to be a pain, there isn’t a link in the description. I’ll google it and see how I go.
when you export SVG file from Affinity Designer do you use ' SVG for export' or some other options?
I have another video on this. Check out the AD playlist
Man I love your videos. Very informative. ❤️
Glad you like them! Let me know if there is anything specific you need!
Incredible video your awesome!!!
Thank you so much!!!
how do you zip and how do you dsf
dxf file
ok found how to save as a dxf file but how do I know it works as i use easy cut
I have a video on how to ZIP files (just search for how to zip and unzip files in my channel)
DXF is used for Silhouette Studio Basic Edition and the Glowforge. You can open them up in something like Inkscape
@@ShootingStarSVG thanks I worked it out but I will watch not enough hours in a day :)
Can you make a video about how you make different file types? Also, is circut a good place to create content?
I can make a video about file types. You cannot save svgs from Cricut. I recommend Inkscape if you're looking for a few program to use.

When it comes to the bundles, are they usually just single items you sell that are bundled up together or are they items that are unique to that bundle? Just curious!
Great question! I do a mix of both. I usually try to provide unique items in a bundle you can get as a single. It tends to push sales a little more!
What's best way to get paid using cash app,PayPal,or your personal state employees act ...Which is safest
I think it depends on the service you are providing and where you are selling your stuff

Why doesn't Etsy detect those Disney designs as soon as they are uploaded?
Good question. They do shut shops down regularly, but they just can't keep up with the influx of new shops doing this.
Had to sub off of this 👌🏾
