$6 ($2 x3) in coins, 2x plastic shower screen hanging clips and a mask were stuck in the filter.
Turning the machine on and off using the dial was enough to drain most of the water.
The door clicks open if the pump gets the water low enough which allows you to remove clothes if required.
That only left a little water to spill out onto the floor when opening the filter.
Put a towel down and it soaked up the smaller amount of remaining water.
Wish the drain was a little higher so it was possible to drain into a pan.
How did the mask manage to get into the filter?
We wash a lot of masks and this is the first time a mask has caused a problem.
Read the Operating instructions for the W3725 and it doesn't include a list of error codes.
The Instructions don't even mention what the "red tap" symbol means.
The only mention is of a water drain fault which is indicated by Triangle with an exclamation mark in it. We never saw that.
Why doesn't the display give you some idea what the F011 code means?
Admittedly the "tap" symbol is a strong clue... but it's 2024 and we're not playing charades... so why not provide slightly more useful error codes?
Looking up error codes online shouldn't be necessary.
Much appreciate the online info from third parties... but I'm surprised that Miele hasn't addressed the issue.
The machine shows no signs of failing it's ~5 years old (7/19 purchase) and it's in almost constant use.
We've cleaned the filter once or twice before since new.
The W3725 replaces ~3 previous machines all of which lasted ~15 years with minimal problems...
except for the first machine that had a touch pad that kept failing and made repairs uneconomical.
Switched to machines with dials since and they have all topped Choices reliability survey for many years.
Our machines are being used at least 2x more than normal... so it's like getting >30 years lifespan in any normal household.
Overall very happy with the machine and I'm $6 richer.

P.S. Dryer (TDB130WP) has also been very reliable although it makes a noticeable impact on the power bill.
