Swiss Ball Sit-Up with One Foot on Wall

  • Sit on top of a swiss ball. Place one foot on the wall, with the other foot dangling down against the ball, without touching the floor. With your hands by your ears or across your chest, brace your core and lean back until your lower back is on the ball. Come back up by raising your torso whilst keeping your elbows out wide and having no movement from the ball or your legs.
    Tip: To ensure you have the right size swiss ball, when you sit on top of the ball, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, your legs should form approximately a 90 degree angle or higher. To decrease the difficulty you can position your hips lower on the ball. Placing your arms across your chest also decreases the difficulty of this exercise.
