I listened (and fell in love with) the new song for the Berserk movie, 'Aria', and I thought it was a 30 year old man singing. Amazing, beautiful voice. But it's the same with opera singers. A well trained voice will still sound great, even if the singer is older than 60 years.
I admit I never read the manga, but anime and manga are two different art forms. All I'm saying is the anime would not be the same without this music. They're both brilliant, but radically different.
@KingOfUm Honestly I don't know and I really really wanted to listen a song from the album Fune arranged in this style because it's one of my favourites...It's a pity but I supposed that Hirasawa wasn't in the mood of doing that, who knows! Anyways this cd has some amazing tracks like Missile, art blind, leak and this one so If you can give it a try ;)

actually there is this 40+ year old japanese woman who looks 18 she is a model, stay at home mother (more or less) and she spends 3 to 4 hours taking care of her skin. she is one hot cougar. her overall health is great too.
