I know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the account password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Alberto Jackson Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This is a CLASSIC youtube video. How it should be. What 'sockets' were you using for this? I'm worried about using sockets for this. Presumably as long as I use a washer it will work fine? I wouldn't mind buying 'socket bits' that work better for this tho. Just have my short 13 and 22 with the quarter inch drive hole and gonna grab bolt, nut, and washers tomorrow.
Great video. Thanks! Question please. I installed my new DU bushing and my tool smushed the end of bushing, so that the ID of the bushing is now slight smaller on the end the tool pushed it in on. I can not get my hardware/ sleeve through side of the bushing. Is that normal? Should I force the sleeve through the bushing? I have an extra, new, uninstalled bushing and it slides on and off the sleeve no problem. Thanks for any help.
If you have a drill and correct drill size (metric or imperial). You can run the drill through the DU bushing to bore the hole to correct size again. Just make sure to hold the drill as straight as you can to the hole. (drill press could be better if you have one, I don't have one so it doesn't really matter). You could also use sand paper on a round stick and sand the hole to fit the hardware/sleeve snugly. You don't want much wiggle room so make sure its the right size drill if your using a drill. Sand paper option might be safer. Hope this helps.
Alex Catto Thanks! Just have to make sure to not touch the inside of the bushing and take off the red coating. I will try the sand method first. Thanks again.
is that bushing necessary? i understand the need for it to fit it well into the mount. but what if the mount would fit better (using stock) by taking that sleeve off, would that damage/hinder reliability of the shock?
Fr No When there is play in the bushing where the bolt slides through - for instance on my Niner RIP - I now have this slight play in that bushing that is enough to notice and needs to be replaced. I think it is only common on certain designs?
Because when you buy a new shock the inner bush diameter is different to your original shock so you need the original bushes off your shock and swapped over
yes.....I am often changing shocks on my motorcycles, and they seem to have different sized bushings, so you have to first remove, and then use that original one in the new shock you will be fitting.
I used this idea was brilliant. Long bolt, nut 13mm socket,Allen key and spanner
What a brilliant brilliant idea.. I like people like you
That bolt and nut idea is so brilliant, thanks.

@Alberto Jackson it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!
@Micah Kabir No problem xD
This is actually better than the way I was going to do it with large socket, small socket, vice

Another easy way to install new bushing is to leave it in the freezer fir awhile - it’ll contract just enough to squeeze it in
Only if your not married does this work!
Are the bushing at each ends of he shock the same size and if not is the replacement the same procedure?
Brilliant move you did there!
is there a reason you dont talk on the video? Good video, but would have explained most questions below.
Amazing, thank you!!
shock?
hello, hey this tool you use is amazing would you know if it would work on a ktm 125 sx?

+katsuramoneh man, what are you 5yo? ofcourse mounting without bushing will lead to eyelets damage when riding.
katsuramoneh well, u just proved your age xd
+maqusss your mom was pretty happy about it... so happy she even asked you sister to join while your dad watched.
@@maqusss Actually it is you who proved your age. 🐢
I second that....What removal tool is that? Great video. Thank!

Good job mate
That's not the bushing, that's the bushing mount
Like the Metallica guy?
When or why would you need to replace the bushing?

Thanks! I think mine's good, then.

@@Droneking68 would you still need swap bushes if it’s the same model of shock ?
Do u need the tool
