This was that case big time. I was pissed it did not do it....
It probably didnt squeak for the video because it has to be hot water running through. If my shower is on cold, it wont squeak. Trying to get ideas on how to change it.
change spout...allen wrench on bottom of spout..check it out
Got any ideas why my parents Delta kitchen faucet squeels?I've tried all new parts and with oem parts ,even tried new aerator,mom and dad are hard of hearing, doesn't bother them drives me nuts.keep those boys in line,plumb on.
Replace that joker. That is why I do not really repair faucets.
yeah, mine is whistling also...... damned things, I just yank the knob on/off a few times and it goes quiet sometimes, but it's on the needs fixed list, which of course never gets done and forgotten, until I get in the shower lol

It whistles cuz there's no Dahl shutoffs installed on the toilet supply. Lol. Nice video.

think I went "plumb master" when I installed mine and tossed the slip on garbage and went all copper/brass, with copper X mip and threaded it on... so that means I'll just have a headache now, although it's 100% solid mounted with a CxC drop ear mounted to 2x4 though. clearly I hate loose shower heads and spouts
ya know that would require cutting marcia a access panel.. and thats not happened to her precious wall....lol
What was the fix though? Bad editing / pacing couldn’t tell.

Maybe the time of day the water pressure is higher or lower not getting the "reed affect "

yeah, well water here and it often starts to howl as the pressure increases while pump is on recovering the tank. sometime it wont do it, other times about impossible to make it stop
