Im a big OP fan and was expecting these to atleast be decent to good. Luffy is good from the waist up, really needs a new lower body and zoro needs a whole new body, Sanji is the best so far but thats not really saying much. Idk what's going on with the OP team, maybe they have a bunch of amateurs over there including the engineering team leader who signs off designs, maybe they are trying to be new and innovative separating themselves from the other lines, whatever it is, its not working and they need to course correct asap. They should ask some people from the JJK or Naruto lines for help.

Im praying to Shenron, Unicron whomever to please help the OP line course correct so the line can improve, continue and stay alive.

It shows you're talking honestly about how you feel about the figure and not just going along with public opinion. As someone who just likes to occasionally pose and take some photos of my figures, I'm less bothered by some of the stuff that you've said. Bits falling off like Zoro=bad. Bits falling off like Luffy=actually ok IMO, while I want Luffy to have more articulation than he has, whenever he's come apart, it's usually on me for pushing the figure past its tolerance. If Sanji is like that, I'm not too bothered.
Idk i just got it now and I don’t think its that bad at all actually, especially compared to Luffy and Zoro. He can still do what he has to do with the arms, you just gotta mess with the shoulder joint in a different way than what we’re used to. Maybe I got lucky but the legs on mine are sturdy too. Theres one small part I saw you miss and its the little extra articulation at the ankle if you pull on the foot. You can get him to tippy toe,essentially. Right now my only problem is the torso popping off occasionally and one of the cigarettes fell out of a face plate and its so tiny its virtually impossible to find.

Don’t know how much this guy was at release but I got him for 35 at Walmart and it came with one fire leg and no heart face and no luffy face. The heart face was the only thing I really missed

Imo the op line. At least the first 3 is overhated ah. Those figures are sick and have not too mang problems. I think people rlyyy see problems in small almost not visible details

Tamashii should stop experimenting with the shoulders they don't look good and is weird. Luffy for me is good, yes the knees sxck but he was extremely cheap, cheaper than a Marvel Legends so is not bad, for me he might be in the top 10 figures of the year based on price-quiality. Edit: ok the review is quite very hard Got him today and I loved it 😂😂 the shoulders are the one tricky thing but he gets to a "T-Pose" if only they did with him what they did with Loid he would be top 3. The legs are incredible and the torso exceptional and only one leg falls apart for me 😂
I have a feeling that SHF have different teams working on each line and the team over at the One Piece line are just over engineering their figures and they’re making such weird choices. SHF has shown they can make figures with fully sleeved characters. The JJK line is proof of this. Why couldn’t Sanji and Zoro’s shoulder articulation be exactly like Gojo’s, ya know? It’s disappointing since I was really excited for these figures and so far they’ve all been letdowns. It’s not just happening here in one piece either they’re going out of their way to try new things like with Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo and it’s to the detriment of the great articulation they’ve cultivated over the last few years.
It's bizarre how drastic the difference in articulation is between the One Piece and Naruto lines. Sasuke and Zoro are pretty similar as far as their basic design elements go and thus the engineering should be more or less the same but Sasuke poses like butter meanwhile Zoro basically can't do much with the entire lower half of his body. I do hope this line finds its footing. I just started getting into One Piece and I would love to get some characters from the show....just not like this.

I really just hate those one piece sh figuarts they did so bad I was actually so exited for zoro but they disappointed on every part of him and they could’ve used different material for the skirt like with sasuke. I see the flaw with this one, in my opinion even though i dont own it yet, i can say it's good in the articulation there is a but, i know what they did, as to why i dont know. They basically copy and pasted Denji's chainsawman articulation, ecen down the the balljoint thigh swivel thats even in the naruto line. The way the arms move out work great for denji cause of the sculpting. But here for Sanji its really hit or miss, it does work no doubt, but doesnt translate well This is why i wish tamashi went and made unique sculpts for specific characters that best suit the said character, where the articulation works and looks good But sadly they miss the ball on that a lot, yet have proven they can do it with many releases, i just dont understand they're team at all One piece line isnt the worst thing out there, but it could've been so much better Oh another decision that makes no sense in the single jointed knee, why? It just reminds me of the old naruto line, but maybe its that way due to the leg swap??? But would a double joint effect it really that much?
man i hate these ugly thigh swivels with a passion, they are so big for no reason and to me it ruins the whole sculpt. same with ssj4 vegeta and few others. good thing oni law doesn't look like that

I feel you brother... I've been waiting for 1/12 brands (instead of weird scales like VariableAction) to show Onepiece the same love that Bandai did with Naruto. They failed their Naruto figures at first but kept revising and refining it. To finally get good 1/12 Onepiece rep only for it to suck would be SO disappointing. I'm fortunate BC I was never interested in the post-time-skip stuff anyways, but it must be devastating for people who were.

Good review, looks like the OP line is 3/3 which is crazy because SHF knows how to make figures, we've seen it. Maybe the OP team are all a bunch of newbies? Do they send the fresh new people to OP? Or maybe they are trying to set themselves apart from the other lines by trying out crazy untested engineering? Idk but whatever they are doing isn't working. They need to ask the Naruto and JJK engineering teams for assistance because if it keeps going at this rate, you know what might happen, sales go down and they may take that as, " oh, i guess people don't want OP figures so cancel the line, try again in 20 years."
What we need is a third-party company to make a One-Piece line and give figurarts a run for its money. Dasin did it with Bleach, Demoniacal and Kong are doing it with the DragonBall line.
