Great video. Goes to show how versatile Jiu-Jitsu can be. For me personally i’d rather take the back from the start or even a different takedown. I’d much rather get to a dominant side control first and snatch the close side straight arm bar and do that technique that you demonstrated in this video to get them to roll on their stomach.
Mostly the pain from having there arm broken. Also its a fight. What keeps a resisting subject you have no control over from biting you or hurting you? Theres no magic arrest tactic that keeps you perfectly safe.
Yes! That’s good, but UNDERSTAND that when in a fight, adrenaline (worlds greatest pain reliever…) is flowing in the perp. So, they’re not as likely to hear your commands. Therefore, you may have to escalate use of force and it’s not going to be so pretty. I train LE.
BTW, I DO NOT recommend putting yourself on the ground and getting into a Jiu jitsu match in a street fight. You can do the same as this technique while standing. I can teach.
Want to see it done with full duty belt and vest on blacktop. But looks great on a mat in a rashguard
Real impressive. You learn something new everyday.
Edit: WOW I got highlighted comment. Hi Dad.
Another good one. Thanks brother.
thanks man!!

Jose Mazariego all great options. This one is just one of many options.
BJJ COP thanks for the content
What keeps her from biting the shit out of your thigh, calf, peroneal nerve?

NEVER!!!
Don’t try to put yourself on your back to do jiu jitsu. You can control a perps arm and potentially break it while still standing on your feet.

You may have to break their sh’t…that’s just how it is on the street.
